Although this is only a topical product it plumps my sunken undereye area immediately. I feel a slight tingle (not painful) when dabbed beneath my eyes, eyelid and up around brow area. I combine this firming serum with the brightening serum then apply a red jar moisturizer. The scent is amazingly refreshing and definitely wakes me up during my AM routine.
