Took about 10 minutes to remove and label the wires on the old sprinkler controller and 10 minutes to install the new one. I’m not handy and have no electric experience. Just be sure to label your wires per zone before taking off your old system.
The app set up the zones in about 10 minutes and took me another 10 minutes to figure out scheduling and navigating the app.
Super cool to control the sprinkler through my smartphone and smart weather tech adds the benefit of a rain sensor with having one. And rain sensors don’t know if it going to rain later in the day… but Rachio does! So happy with this purchase!

These are great and worth every penny. Mine knows when it is going to rain, so adjusts the schedule of my sprinkler system. I’ve had mine 4 years, and I have never had an issue.
Same here. Installed 2 years back and love it. My water bill went down little not too much but my lawn is more healthy. Some cities give up to $150 rebate for installing this. I got $100 back in rebate
