Why is this on a Sunday?! We don’t shop on Sundays.

    • Tilly

I feel the same!! It would be nice if they would do a Tuesday or some other random day.

    • Roslyn

      A lot of people do.

I go on Monday to pick up my Sunday paper. Not going to pay $5.00 for poor journalism. Remember the old days when reporters actually investigated stories? I only buy it for the crosswords, medical section and the skimpy coupons with Dollar general ads.

Wish mine sold the Sunday paper the next day.

    Hi, OP 🙂

I was at my local DT today, and when leaving the cashier added, “Come out this Sunday for 10% off.”

I’ve known of the 10%-off vouchers in years past, but didn’t get one for this Sunday.

….. knowing there used to be a code to use, I thanked the cashier, but added, “Doesn’t that require a coupon?”

She liked genuinely surprised, left the register, went to the office, came back and said it does take a coupon because of the coder on the back.

So, OP, could you please post your picture of the back of this voucher you have?

That same cashier apologized that they ran out of vouchers ….. since she had spoken about a discount I, without a voucher, couldn’t get 🙁

      Who is OP? Thanks

      • Amber

I think it means the original poster of the deal

        • Aunt Mae

          Ahhh
          Thanks

      • Amber

The original poster of this deal.

Do we need coupon for this offer? And how do we get the coupon?

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

You do need a coupon. You’ll need to ask when you walk in. I would call ahead to make sure they didn’t run out of them.

Officially “you need a voucher” ….. because the instructions are on the back …. that’s what the cashier might/will tell you.

(The instructions are almost similar year to year, “Press F9, select blah blah blah, then blah blah”….. the cashier has to press the correct buttons on the register)

      It’s not a unique Code that’s 1 and done.

THAT’S why I asked this OP to post a picture of the back of her voucher, where those instructions are ….. So we can all share and maybe get the Discount without a voucher showing the voucher on our phones, as a picture.

Dollar Tree actually has on their website the Appreciation Day voucher from years ago ….. odd Management didn’t take it down.

      • Su

Thank you all for the info.

Went to DT today, specifically wanting to get the 10% discount. Of course, I couldn’t find anyone on the floor, but I asked the cashier when I checked out. She replied, “What 10% discount?” I said the one I had learned about n H2S, that recommended checking with an associate for the coupon. She then said it was for employees only. I’m going back tomorrow with my receipt and a copy of whatever I can find on the website to back me up….
In the past they have had an employee handing out the coupons at the checkout line, but no such luck this year.
