I received an email.
I would not reload a card. I reloaded my card and it did not accept the offer. I went and purchased a physical gift card and then the promotion was applied. You can only use it once so I know it did not work for the reload on my account.

Hi Sue! It looks like you can do more than one to equal the $40. “Add $40 or more in Amazon.com Gift Cards to your cart, and complete your purchase or reload your Gift Card balance with $40 or more.”

So totally off topic, but I just noticed on Amazon home page that most purchases between Oct 1 through Dec 31 can be returned until Jan 31, 2021-that’s pretty awesome- wasn’t sure how that was going to go this year with all the 2020 issues!

I made sure the coupon code had been applied to the account (button to do so can be found on the main gift card page, try desktop if on mobile) and reloaded $40 onto a gift card yesterday afternoon. I got no indication that it worked at all and was feeling irritated, but I see that as of a few minutes ago, the credit shows up in my account when i go to check out. Weird how some people get the confirmation instantly and others really do have to wait up to 2 days.
Anyone get an error saying code could not be applied?

Yup I got the same message despite multiple attempts on my mobile and desktop.
$10 promotional credit is only valid on items sold by Amazon. So be sure to check as it wont work on all purchases.

Amazon did not me a give place to apply thecode so I called right after I reloaded my card and the CSR took care of the credit for me. She made me one happy camper.

What can you buy with your $10 credit. I’m having a hard time finding items that are included.
It’s always items sold and shipped by Amazon for these deals.
I got mine. The previous Prime day $10’s have to be used TODAY, otherwise they will disappear, but the email for this one said its good till Nov 29th. I did my GC reload yesterday, make sure to hit the button to add promo to account before the reload, and it worked for me. Got the promo today.
It’s telling me the code can’t be applied to my account 🤷♀️

Just received the email for my $10 promotional credit (from this post) the email subject is “Here’s your promotional credit from your recent Amazon order”. Inside the email it states:
A $10 promotional credit has been applied to your account. The promotional credit is valid through November 29, 2020 and is good for eligible products sold by Amazon.com.
I just talked to Amazon customer service and they said not to use the promo code. The deal is still active for about another hour without it as long as you add $40 worth of gift cards to your order. I just placed my order so I guess we’ll see.
I purchased the $40 But never got the free 10 and it expires today. Help!! 👀
