The Rockettes Are Giving FREE Virtual Dance Lessons This Hoiliday Season
Dance along with the Rockettes this Christmas!
Although the Rockettes’ annual Radio City Christmas Spectacular was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, they’re still finding a way to spread some holiday cheer by offering free virtual dance classes! The free classes are available through Instagram Live every Wednesday at 3 p.m. EST through December 23rd. Each lesson is about one hour long with a fun Q&A session to follow.
Although the classes teach choreography from select holiday numbers, participants will quickly realize that the Rockettes work hard to make their dance moves look easy. Not only is dancing a great way to relieve stress and burn off a little steam but one hour spent dancing with the Rockettes is also a great workout!
The Instagram Lives are saved on the Rockettes’ main channel and can be found at the top of their page. This allows you to view a class that you missed live or rewatch anything you’d like to see again.
So go ahead and channel your inner Rockette this holiday season, but remember to stretch first! Thankfully, each virtual class begins with a 15-minute warm-up, because those famous eye-high kicks are no joke!
