Still thinking it over? Check out a few of these five-star reviews…

I have owned three of these carts over the past 20 years. I still have one and just purchased my fourth cart as a replacement for the cart I had for at least 5 years. They are very durable and last for many years with normal use. They are great for moving groceries and other purchases, and for small loads of laundry. One of the best features is that the cart folds easily to fit into a car trunk or a household closet, and the handle adjusts to different heights.

Throughout the years, I have purchased this kind of cart many times. Although they don’t last forever, they are a very handy way to bring in my groceries and packages. I live in a condo building and for small shopping orders, I use this folding cart to bring my things up the elevator into my apartment. I hate making more than one trip from the car, so this cart enables me the ability to bring up my things and not have to carry them in my arms.

I’m actually using the same cart I bought probably about 20 years ago. I was in tech support and used to to haul different devices and other junk I needed. Well, I’m retired now and use it often when packing for vacations to haul food, etc. Actually, whenever I go anywhere where I need to bring an amount of stuff it’s perfect because the sides are strong and it’s so easy to wheel.

My mother used a metal one growing up. Hauled it on the bus to go shopping downtown many times. Now they make them enclosed. They are great when it is raining but they hold less. I think when we used to walk to the Commissary they carried 6 brown paper bags of groceries. My favorite memory is when we were baggers in high school at the Commissary and my girlfriend and I had 4 shopping carts to take out to a VW Bug. They guy filled up his car and then had to pay a taxi to follow him home with the rest. He still paid us $5 each (which was worth more in the late 70’s than now.

Thank you for two. One for me and one for my dad. Years ago I bought a wheeled garden cart and use it all the time for my groceries. My dad has ALWAYS wanted one. This is think might be better since it is collapsible and he can always have it in the trunk of his car.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Aww, You’re so welcome! Happy you could score one for each of you! Hope he loves it!

Any thoughts on how it would do on a full flight of stairs? Wondering if it would help make lighter work or not for aging parents. Thanks!

IMO…no…once the elevator was out of order at work and I had to lug my cart, which i love, full of paperwork, up 19 steps…it was no picnic…it’s a chore on multiple steps…around four or five you are good to go…any more…nope…

  9. Mama Bug

Thanks! I have been considering one of these. I work in education and I feel like I am always hauling stuff between school and home. I’m tired of having my hands full every day as I leave.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

You’re so welcome! Glad you could grab one!

This cart is fantastic. I got it back in the summer for 20.00. Great investment. It’s very sturdy and helps me tote my work back and forth between my office and my at home office. Highly recommend it.
