My 8, 7, and 5-year-old can open and close the cap. And I love the magnet because it holds the cap in place when they drink. So glad I bought these. They are also awesome for the backpack water holders and even smaller backpacks. Did I mention we love these water bottles?!?!!

they have a lifetime warranty and great customer service! my son dropped his and it cracked and started leaking. I emailed their customer service and they responded the same day that they would ship me a new one!
