I have one of these at work and HATED it until I realized that I could leave the lid open–all you have to do is open the lid and turn it off with the lid up. When I’m clearing out paperwork, it is much easier to have it open and just toss things in quickly as I go through the piles. When I’m done, I just press the power switch again and it closes.
I’m thinking about getting one for home now!
I got this last time it was on sale and am enjoying it. Mine came without a liner. Is it supposed to have one? It also has holes toward the bottom. I used to use plastic shopping bags for trash bags, but they are much too small to fit around the rim.
There is no liner other than a trash bag you put in it. It has a removable liner ring that keeps the garbage bag securely in place and hidden from sight.
Sadly mine stopped working after four months. 😞 I tried new batteries and all. You could hear the motor running but it would not open/close.
I think it should have a warranty if you try to return it. It should work for more than four months.
Love mine! Had it for 2 years so far. Looks nice and it’s easy to keep the outside clean. Put Duracell batteries in first day, haven’t had to change them in 2 years. Great price also
I ordered this and it came with a huge dent but the box it came it wasn’t damaged a bit.
We bought this last time it was posted. It came in perfect condition in two days and we really like it! The shape is much better than our previous Simple Human trash can.
