I looked at all the similar brands and this one did not disappoint. the heat function is actually really useful, I buy soups from Daily Harvest and like most of them pureed. the base is medium-heavy and very stable – my counter slopes a little and it isn’t a problem. The smoothie function is smart enough to pulse a few times in the beginning and to REALLY whir and stop a couple of times to self-scrape the sides.
For anyone having digestive problems or those with a baby, this blender is perfect. I am not quite at the puree stage yet but find that the SOUP and PULSE are perfect for all my meal needs. Have also made milkshakes and Frappes and I am looking forward to trying to make smoothies too. Easy to clean with its own wash cycle but half the time I just rinse in hot water and air dry. Food doesn’t stick to the glass pitcher. Love it. Blender is solid on the counter and does not “walk across the counter” as some blenders do. The computer screen is easy to understand and use. Great piece of technology that will help me to live a healthier lifestyle.
