Our team’s favorite kitchen tool is on sale at Amazon!

Hurry over to Amazon where they’ve dropped the price of this Anchor Hocking 2-Quart Glass Batter Bowl to just $12.99 (regularly $31.96) – lowest price!

Buyers rave about this batter bowl because of its pour spout, spacious handle, and measurement marks which makes it so easy to measure and pour batter – and make less mess. Plus, since it’s made of tempered glass it won’t retain smells, discolor, or leach chemicals into food like plastic.

Here’s how Lina uses this bowl…

“I use my large 8-cup batter bowl so much, and it’s by far my favorite all-purpose mixing bowl! I like that it’s glass so I can easily microwave recipes when needed, and it’s super convenient to pour using a handle. I know it’s funny to have a favorite item that’s so simple, but I misplaced it for a few weeks after we remodeled the kitchen, and I felt lost without it! HA!”

With a 2-quart capacity, this glass mixing bowl is big enough to make all your family’s favorite recipes. It even doubles as a food storage container for pre-made batter, food prep, and more.

It’s made in the USA and very durable – you can place it the freezer, microwave, dishwasher, and even a preheated oven!

This mixing bowl is loved by Hip2Savers, too…

“I love mine! I use it multiple times a week. The most creative way I’ve ever used it? Making a basketball shaped cake for my Dad. Baked it right in the bowl!” – Juliee

“I have had this exact one for about 7 years now and it’s still perfect! I got rid of all of my mixing bowls and only kept this!” Daniibeth

Lina- I saw this peeking out in a picture in a recent recipe you posted and was going to ask about it, as a gift for my sister. Thank you for the info!

Does it come with a lid?

    • Lina D (Hip2Save Sidekick)

      I don’t think it does.

    • Stacy F (Hip2Save Sidekick)

No, this one does not come with a lid. They do have one for $19 that does.

        Thanks!

Can anyone comment on how heavy this bowl is? And can you use a hand mixer with it? Thank u 😊

    • alexander

Yes you can use a hand mixer in it.

It’s heavy-ish for my weak wrists. I have a three-piece graduated Oxo set with spouts that I got for $8 at Kroger. They are very light and nest with my other mixing bowls.

This is exactly like the Pampered Chef one! I love my PC one. I got it 15 years ago and I still use it all the time! The PC one comes with a lid and if you buy from them you might support someone working from home, so local business 🙂

It’s heavy/sturdy but light enough to pour pancakes with. I use my hand mixer in it!

I don’t own this because I have a Pyrex one but I’d recommend this one over Pyrex because the measurements are built into it and won’t scratch off like my Pyrex one does. I only handwash the Pyrex so I’m disappointed. Think I’ve seen this cheaper at Meijer if you have that store.

Get the lid! I have this same bowl, but from Pampered Chef. I bought it YEARS ago and still use it all the time. I use the lid very often as I will prepare food it in and store it in the refrigerator.

I have 2 of these and one of the pampered chef. The PC one has a lid which is convenient. I use it for everything! I will say that if you have a Menards in your area, get it there it was $6 and some change when I got mine (online shipping at Mensrds is a lot)

I love my Anchor Hocking batter bowl! It’s my go to for all my cooking or just making oatmeal to put in the microwave. Anchor Hocking also had a 5 year Guarantee on the batter bowl. I had one crack and gave them a call and they sent me a replacement at no charge. Awesome company!
