Macy’s is Bringing Back Toys ‘R’ Us | Available NOW Online & Coming to Stores Soon

Macy’s + Toys R Us = good news for Toys R Us kids of all ages!

Macy’s just announced a new partnership with Toys “R “Us that will bring the world’s greatest toy store to Macys.com, effective immediately!

Just like the previous Toys “R “Us online shopping experience, shoppers will be able to search for the perfect product by age, toy type, character, and brand on Macys.com. From cars to dolls to STEM-inspired products for creative learners, the new online Toys “R” Us store will offer something for everyone!

In addition to the brand new online store, Toys “R” Us shop-in-shops will also begin appearing in over 400 Macy’s stores nationwide in 2022. At Toys “R” Us inside Macy’s, customers will be welcomed by Geoffrey the Giraffe before discovering interactive experiences, activation centers, and sections for every age, interest, and category.

Toys “R” Us filed for bankruptcy in March 2018 and closed all of its stores nationwide by June of that year. The company has been trying to make a comeback ever since.

In 2019, Toys “R” Us opened two pop-up mall stores under new ownership. Those locations closed earlier this year.
