One reader discovered some HOT clearance deals at Walmart! 🛒
A change in seasons can mean you’ll also see changes in the clearance aisles! There, you may find deeply discounted products marked down to make room for new merchandise.
Hip2Save reader Connie Z. recently came across some clearance items at her local Walmart, and they were all marked down to just a dollar! She found summer items like sunscreen and other products like nail polish, makeup, gummy vitamins, and cold & flu medicine all for just a buck!
My local Walmart had a great clearance section with closeouts on lawn and garden and sunscreen/makeups. Everything was priced at $1! You have to watch the expiration dates but otherwise, it’s a great time to stock up for next year. – Connie Z
Connie even found various brands of potting soil in both small and large sizes for only a dollar! 😱
Keep in mind that clearance prices and selection can vary quite a bit from one store to the next, but Connie’s haul has me convinced that we should all be sprinting to the closest Walmart to see what we can find!

I’d like to add that it’s also a great idea to scan the clearance items with your Walmart app. I’ve been finding many clearance items have been further marked down, but the sticker hasn’t been changed. Also, check near the pharmacy for a secret clearance area! My Walmart has a little section of clearance there and I found body lotion, vitamins, and various health items marked way down.

I went to our closest Wal-mart and found Native and Burt’s Bees brand Items as well as other name brand cosmetics and toiletries most regularly $10-$16 and they were all $1.00!! Thanks for the head up. I scored big too!
