Here’s How One Reader Scored Her Favorite Products For Under 10¢ w/ a Hip2Save Deal
This reader used Hip2Save tips and deals to score her favorite products for just about FREE.
We love to hear how readers are able to use our deals and tips to save money. After all, that’s what our site is all about! That’s why we were thrilled to hear from this week’s Happy Friday reader, Angela.
She wrote in to tell us how she used a handful of our posts to score two of her favorite personal care products for a grand total of just 9¢!
Here’s how Angela did it!
“”Thanks to Hip2Save I got $40 worth of products practically free! Totally free if you count the various receipt apps I submitted to for points, which I also learned about on Hip2Save.”
“In the beginning of the year, I started on a weight loss and fitness journey. I wanted some help along the way and have come to really like the Physician’s Choice Thin 30 Probiotic. ( I also highly recommend their Women’s Probiotic as well 😉). As with most supplements, they can be pricey. For a 30 day supply it costs $29.99 a bottle. That’s almost $1 a pill so I always try to find it on sale or use cash back offers when I can.”
“My second item is the Dove VitaminCare + deodorant which I discovered through a sampling program and fell in love instantly. Best aluminum free formula I have used. But when I ran out and went to purchase it for myself, I got a little bit of sticker shock at $12 for a 2.6oz stick. That’s $4.61 an oz! That’s some premium deodorant!”
“Now for the savings part. So, the week before I purchased these 2 items I took advantage of another Target promotion that I learned about on Hip2Save! One promotion was get a $15 GC with a $50 household purchase. Just in time to stock up on detergent and dish soap. Dawn PowerWash for the win!
I also discovered I had a Target circle offer from another post about circle offers on Hip2Save. For me the promotion was to “spend $90 and earn $10 in circle earnings.” I earned both that day. $25 back. Cha-ching. Time to stack offers.
Fast forward to this past week’s promotion of “spend $40 on health and beauty and get a $10 GC” that I came across on, you guessed it, Hip2Save. There was another Target circle offer with a $4 off MFR coupon for the deodorant and an Ibotta cash back offer for the probiotic of $4.
Final breakdown. Both items subtotaled to $41.98. After the MFR coupon discount and stacking the 2 offers from the previous week my total out of pocket was $14.09. Since my subtotal was over $40 I earned the $10 GC. Technically bringing me down to $4.09. Then I submitted for $4 back on Ibotta.
Final cost $0.09. And that’s how I got 2 of my current favorite products for almost free! Thanks Hip2Save ! 😊“
