Shane and Jacee have some big news to share with everyone!

Remember when we shared how Shane met his girlfriend through Hip?! Well, they recently came back from a Las Vegas trip engaged and we couldn’t be more thrilled for them! 😍

Check out this adorable Wordle Shane created for the proposal! 🥰

Since Wordle was a game they often played at the beginning of their long-distance relationship, it was a no-brainer to incorporate it into his super thoughtful proposal. Although there’s no Hip deal spin on this team highlight, we still can’t get over that Hip2Save brought them together in the first place! 🤩

Shane, Lina, and Chelsey got together to welcome them home and say congrats in person!

How adorable are our Hip sidekicks?! 😍 It’s not often any of us get to spend quality time together in person so when it happens we sure do love to share it with the rest of the team (and all of you!).

And all of them said if you’re ever in the Pheonix, Arizona area, Luci’s at the Orchard is a must-visit!

Alli and her husband visited her sister in Pennsylvania while booking frugal stays and learned some exciting news!

Alli and her husband got into town a day early and booked an incredible deal on their hotel through Hotwire. Then, they booked the remainder of their stay through Airbnb which she says is always her favorite (and most frugal) way to travel.

Even more exciting, they learned her sister has another beautiful baby girl on the way come January! 🥰

Chelsey and her kiddos have been staying busy with crafts that they either DIY’d or bought for an amazing price. 

On Chelsey’s son’s last day of Fall break, she wanted to find a quick and easy craft to do at home that wasn’t your typical cookie-cutter craft. Although she used a Target Circle offer to score this kit at 20% off, it’s still a great price even without a discount! Better yet, she said they turned out SO GREAT, it was fun for everyone, and they tasted great so nothing went to waste. Win, win!

Aside from this awesome Target find, Chelsey, DIY’d fluffy witch slime, ghost tealights, eyeball push/nightlights, and even a pizza with ghost-shaped mozzarella. 😍 #momgoals

Jessica scooped up this Halloween inflatable for under $20.

This impressive 8-foot high and 7-foot long inflatable is perfect if you’re looking for a fun last-minute Halloween decoration to add to your yard. Jessica said her daughter absolutely LOVES plugging it in and watching it inflate so it’s been a great addition to their yard.

We simply can’t believe the price and it’s received so many compliments already!

Jessica also scooped up this Halloween tree after seeing our Hip sidekick, Lina’s! 🤩

Even if you don’t grab this piece before Halloween, it’s timeless and definitely something you’ll look forward to taking out every year to come. Both Lina and Jessica have said this tree is one of their favorite Halloween decorations in their homes and we couldn’t love it more!

Melissa and her husband saved money on a contractor by building their own firepit. 

Our Hip sidekick, Melissa, LOVES doing home projects so it’s no surprise they skipped a contractor for their new firepit and they certainly saved money too! She said they bought the firepit ring on Amazon, the pavers from Lowe’s, and the black Adirondack chairs from Home Depot.

Up next will be pea gravel to complete the firepit area and landscaping which they’ll of course do themselves too. 😉 Looking great, you two!

Here’s a few books our team finished reading this month:

Emily said Atomic Habits changed her life and it will change yours too. 

To Emily, saying this book is kind of life-changing would be a big understatement. In fact, she’d recommend it to anyone reading this post! It’s full of tiny actionable changes to help build good habits and break bad ones. And she said the science behind why it works is pretty fascinating too.

She listened to it on Audible, but you can also buy the book on Amazon!

Our Hip sidekick, Jessica, also read this book and loves it!

Jessica also said this is SUCH a great read! She said it teaches you how to make big changes in your life by doing small things so it’s not overwhelming. In fact, they have raved about it so much I ALSO bought this book before I finished typing this. 😆
