I have been looking for white dishes that are affordable yet substantial in weight and hardly enough for a less than gentle family for a long time. I purchased 3 sets and could not be happier. They are not cheaply made at all. Nice weight, the plates are uniformly straight and all pieces microwave well. The bowls do not heat up along with the food. This set is very unique while still being simple. The bowls are extremely useful for pasta, soup, salad…and kids! It offers a large enough plate with rounded edges that my kids can manage well without having to use a kid plate with edges.
