Collin, if one is free, how can you use 2 coupons?

    • Michelle

Most stores allow you to use coupons on the free item as well.

I have worked at Meijer for over 13 years. We don’t allow coupons on free items. I don’t know why a store would pay you to take something home.

I just did two of these deals and the coupons went through fine. I actually am able to use coupons on free items at Target too. If you think about it, the store benefits because the free item is their store sale so they are at least getting $1.08 back from manufacturer for it. Stores are dumb if they don’t let you use q’s on free items….

    Collin,
I got this liquid detergent deal today and was so excited. Then, however, I headed to my grocery store and the regular price of the same detergent was $2.49! How is there such a difference? $6.99 vs. $2.99 is a huge difference! Are Walgreen’s prices usually that much higher? I had already used my coupons, but could’ve gotten a much better deal at my store:( You seem to shop at Walgreen’s a lot so I was just wondering if you find this to be true a lot.

    Thanks for all you do!!!

Deanna, may I ask what grocery store in your area has that price regularly. I only use the sensitive plus one. I can never seem to find it for the buy one get one at Cvs or Walgreens. TIA

I live in Buffalo NY. We have Wegmans here.
