(Thanks, Freebie Finding Mom!)
Thanks for sharing this! We did this last Saturday and my son had a blast. I tried to sign him for the Lowe’s build and grow, but it has been “full”….everywhere. Anyone have any luck signing up for that workshop?
We usually skip the Home Depot workshops, Lowes are so much better. I have taken my son to every one since May of last year. You need to sign up the first day available. Come Saturday, their website should say when the next registration opens. They are doing them every 2 weeks again this summer.
Thanks Rebecca!
Thank you so much! I had no idea Lowe’s did this so often. I thought I missed it since this current one was full. I think my son will like all but one of the upcoming clinics. Are the Lowe’s ones totally free?
Yep, all free!
Thanks!
I have to agree. Lowe’s is much better quality. We do these all the time in the winter. Unfortunately the summer months we can’t do any of them as we are out of town every weekend
The disclaimer I get says they only hold the kits for 15 minutes. After that it goes to kids that are present. You could try showing up and see if they have any extra. Or call you store to see if can show up.
I try to sign up as soon as possible. Last time signup started on a Monday about a week after the last workshop. But they do take people late; they usually have some extra kits.
my comment was regarding Lowe’s
I just checked our area and we have tons of stores….all full! They are never full!
regarding the Lowes build and grow
Popular one with the movie coming out…
Cool. Thanks! I needed something for my Cub Scout to build.
Thanks for sharing! My daughter loves going to these activities 🙂
FYI your child does not have to be 5. They can be younger…obviously need to be old enough to do the project with you, not be afraid of loud hammering…lol
