I think snapfish is better then shutterfly personally. Mpix has great prints but your gonna pay more.
I agree. My snapfish pictures have been terrible quality as well. I much prefer shutterfly quality. I recommend them and all their photo products. We use them all the time for gifts
I have used snapfish, shutterfly, picaboo and snapfish is by far the worst I even have some free products codes from stuff they messed up and refuse to use them. I made a flip book and five of my pictures printed horizontal instead of vertical and cut off heads even though in the preview they looked correct after many calls to snapfish customer service and reprinting it twice and still not getting it right they told me to pick different pictures wrong answer so I don’t use them anymore shutterfly had never done that to me and I think the quality is better anyway
I’ve used both for years, but prefer snapfish. I think the pictures are always much clearer. I enlarged a pic of my baby from Shutterfly, it was very blurry. When I look at vacation pics I got from snapfish 10+ yrs ago, they look amazing like they are in HD. Also, snapfish tends to offer better codes – penny prints and free shipping.
I’ve made photo books using both shutterfly and snapfish. With both sites, they gave me the “low resolution” warning on a page that I was doing a large full photo on….but when my snapfish album arrived, instead of printing a slightly lower res picture, they left an entire page blank!! One huge white page in an otherwise colorful photo book. It looked terrible and I was really disappointed. However, all my shutterfly albums have still turned out great, though, despite me blowing up my cell phone pictures full page. Have ordered calendars, books and a large 16×16 canvas from shutterfly now, have always been very pleased with the result 🙂
I used both companies for years, but then about 5 years ago, I ordered 300 prints from Snapfish and they were terrible. I ordered the same prints from Shutterfly and they were much better. Since then, I’ve only used Shutterfly. In addition to good quality, they have so many discounts and freebies that I rarely pay for anything. Over christmas, I ended up paying almost nothing for 5 calendars, 4 Christmas stockings, and a 16×20 as well as all of my prints after Christmas. Recently i got a free personalized notepad for myself–thinking these would make great gifts for kids, girlfriends, etc.
