Not all stores mark down at the same time. We have 4 targets, and prices aren’t always the same at each of them.
Wow didn’t know this was a good deal, as I didn’t look at original price. Saw it yesterday for $38 on clearance in NY.

Silly question.. But Target store in town has it but at higher price, can they price match it from another Target store that has it with lower price?

Keep in mind this is not the real Lionel like we know from our younger days. This is a battery operated version of much less quality and realism. The real ones are still sold but you barely find sales but they are awesome.

My store has it listed for $99.28. Another store in the next town has it for $64.56. The one store that has it for $38 is of course sold out. Bummer

My Target had color changing hot wheels for $1.22 original $4.09. I was able to use the 15% cartwheel which made them $1.03 each 😀 DPCI 087-07-1158. They also had Barbies in the toy section for $1.49. These were not marked. DPCI 086-06-0712

Kinda off topic. Target seems to be clearing out some Our Generation items. The laundry (washing machine set) online has the cartwheel “tag”on it but regular price. I clicked on it and it took me to the 15%off toy clearance cartwheel. Out of stock online but found it in store regular price and got the 15% off plus 5% redcard. A bunch of our generation items online had this cartwheel “tag” on it fyi, so I figure they must be clearance too. Happy Shopping!
It’s just a glitch in the cartwheel code, I think. Worked on a nonclearance (non-Our Generation item) $60 item but not a clearance $10 item for me.

My target had shown the discount on the inventory checker but it scanned at the retail $129.99
Guest services fixed using “price matching” which makes me believe any store would sell you for 39.98.
However, they would not honor cartwheel coupon.
I just had the same problem the train came up at $129 but on target inventory it say it is 38$. I showed customer service and they would not let me buy at the 38$ price. They said they have never heard of the price check app that I was using.
The inventory checker is not accurate. It states there are 0 available at my Target but they had a shelf full of them marked down to $38.98. I grabbed one and used the Cartwheel too. Great deal! Thank you for posting because I would not have noticed otherwise.

Super nice lady at my target price matched for me for the $38!!!! She said I always so nice when I come in she hated to see me have to run all over town. Not how I expected a cashier to feel about a couponer!!!!
We got one! The inventory site said there were 6 left. By the time we got to Target there were 3 left on the shelf and by the time we went to the next aisle the other 2 were gone! Thanks for head’s up on this deal!!
