Wow, I didn’t know that. My brother has the ring set up all around his house, it’s very neat and works great we were testing out the alarms, the speakers and the quality and range. I’d love the whole house system.
Is this a self monitored application or need to subscribed to some service, like ADT? thanks
I have a nest cam – not outdoor – you don’t have to subscribe to a service. The drawback is that your videos aren’t kept for very long. I actually use my nest for a baby room monitor and it works fine for me.
I’m curious, how long are recordings kept without paying any fees? Like a weeks worth?

According to Amazon, you need to subscribe to nest aware either 100 or 300 a year for it to be useful. If you don’t subscribe, you only get live feed of the video
Darn! I just paid $169 each for two if them last week. We have a Ring doorbell and now two of these. Love them!
I have four nests. Love them. I use the outdoor ones inside. They are more durable than regular and im all for the extra protection inside.
