Wrong generation, thatās Gen Z
I think people forget it isnāt the millennialsā fault. They didnāt invent participation trophies and they sure arenāt proud of them or wanted them to begin with. I blame the older generation for their coddling ways.
So true!!! Many fail to realize that Gen Z kids aren’t born to millennial parents!
My kids are Gen Z and I am a millennial. Gen Z is unofficially anyone born after 2000 and Millennial is 1982-2000. So roughly 36 years old today- 18 years old are Millennials, all are old enough to have Gen Z children. Kids between newborn and 18 (depending on birthday) are Generation Z. I know some Baby Boomers with Gen Z children so this isn’t just a Millennial issue. I just had a conversation with a Baby Boomer who is a military veteran, with children between 2 and 26 and he coddles his children and felt terrible because he couldn’t follow his own parenting advice that he was giving to others. Questioned what was in the water he was never this way with his older children. Lol
āMillennial is 1982-2000.ā
Um…just NO! 1982 is far too old to be a millennial. Donāt know where you are getting that at? But as someone born in 1982 this is the first time I have heard my birth year used for the millennial generation.
