Through much investigation on lawnmowers I found that electric was the way to go. This Sunjoe offered everything I was looking for. This low maintenance, pollution-free, and easy to use mower did a great job. Now I can say the price was very good for the all around experience.
I just purchased this lawn mower as a replacement for a different brand that I had for many years. It is powerful enough to mow through a foot of grass (first cut of the season) without any issues and although heavier than the one that I had previously, is still manageable. I usually mulch my grass but I like that that the grass catcher came with it that I could use for the first cut because the grass was so long. Also, for the same reason it’s nice to have seven levels to cut the grass, and easy to change at one spot.
It’s the widest I can find at this price, and it’s great and strongly recommended. The only thing you have to consider is to find a good extension cord. Not very noisy at all.

Anyone who is on the fence regarding this brand..we own a Sun Joe trimmer and pole saw from QVC. Best purchases we have made for our home maintenance so far! Our pole saw is 3 years old and runs like new.

We bought this same on a few years ago. It’s been great for our small yard. A few notes:
The mulch bag is small, so if you use it you will have to stop to empty every 10 minutes or so. But, it is very light and easy to empty and re-install.
We have had to replace a few of the plastic bolt covers/screw caps, but they are easy to find online and cheap.
The cord takes some getting used to. It’s helpful to have a second person walk behind to manage the cord so you don’t run over it. You just have to pay attention and follow a pattern.

Also, this mower is not self-propelled, so be prepared for a work out, especially if you are a weakling like me, lol. Although some of the reviews say it’s easy to push, if you have some sloping to your yard it could still be challenging and exhausting.
