How is BARK Food made?

What breeds are included in BARK’s dog food offerings?

At this time, they have 10 breeds to choose from to best optimize your dog’s health. If you don’t see your dog’s breed listed, or if your dog is a mutt like mine, don’t worry! Choose the breed (or breeds) that is closest to your dog. You can also reach out to BARK Food to see what they recommend.

The current breeds are Australian Shepherd, Dachshund, Labrador, Chihuahua, Pit Bull, Golden Retriever, German Shepherd, French Bulldog, Doodle, and Boxer. They’re working on adding more breeds as we speak!

What are the BARK Food kibble options?

Depending on your dog’s breed, you’ll get one of the following food options.

• Kibble of the Sea – main ingredients of Alaskan Pollock and brown rice, designed for skin and coat support, healthy digestion, and bone and joint support, for Boxers, Pit Bulls, and Australian Shepherds
• Itty-Bitty Chicky – main ingredients are farm-raised chicken and whole-grain rice, made to help support healthy metabolisms, bone and joint health, and aid in healthy digestion, perfect for small dogs like Chihuahuas, Dachshunds, and French Bulldogs.
• Cock-A-Doodle-Chew – main ingredients are farm-raised chicken and whole-grain rice, packed with Omega-3s for skin support, promotes a healthy metabolism, and helps with bone and joint support for Doodles, Labradors, German Shepherds, and Golden Retrievers.
• Gobble-Gobble Grain-Free Gibble – turkey and sweet potato mixture, for dogs with allergies.

Is there a catch?

Nope, no catch with BARK Food’s Breed Specific Dog Food! There is a feeding guide on the package of each bag of food to help you determine the correct amount of food. I’ve been feeding Maddie the same volume as her previous food and it seems to be just fine.
