Do you think the dispenser pumps are made differently than the regular ones? I refill the current ones (using a hefty T of Method soap and filling with water). But they often stop working after several refills. They also get really gross (especially the white tops) even after scrubbing with a toothbrush. Unless they are different, it seems silly to me.

Great question, Kim! I’ll check with Hip Sidekick Alli on this for you! 🩷

Hello again! Alli did let me know that she hasn’t had that issue with her dispenser, however she only uses the B&BW soap. Hope that’s helpful! 🤗❤️

They are different! I bought 3 a few weeks ago when they had the soap holder + Refill container for some great price (maybe $15 or $18).
The holder is heavier and more substantial. The pump seems more hardy than the ones on usual B&BW soap. The bottom of the soap dispenser has a tacky substance which is nice since my kids are always knocking the individual foaming soaps into the sink when they pump it. We have been using it for a few weeks and it has stayed put on the side of the sink.
