Here’s a list of the stores that offered cheap or free turkeys for Thanksgiving in 2025…

Frozen turkeys were free at Acme with a $300 cumulative purchase.

In 2025, Acme gave away free Signature Select Frozen Turkeys to Acme for U members who spent $300 between October 17th and November 27th.

To redeem this offer, just clip the free turkey coupon in your ACME for U account prior to shopping. Then, you’ll have until November 27th to claim your free turkey!

$40 dinner for 10 people with groceries from ALDI

ALDI didn’t give away free turkeys in 2025, but their holiday meal essentials were priced so low that you could serve up a delicious Thanksgiving dinner for cheap with groceries purchased at ALDI!

Even if you bought a 14-pound Jennie-O Turkey at ALDI, you could still get that plus everything needed to feed 10 people a complete Thanksgiving dinner for just $40! 😱

BJ’s Wholesale Club members got a free turkey with a $150 purchase.

BJ’s Wholesale Club offered its members a free Butterball Turkey (valued at up to $25) when they purchased qualifying items totaling $150 in one transaction between November 1st and November 10th, 2025.

If you received a coupon for a FREE turkey in your account (online or in the app), you could redeem it for your free turkey between November 15th and November 26th.

Food Lion had whole turkeys for just 39¢/pound.

In 2025, MVP members could use their club card to get whole frozen turkeys for just 39¢ per pound at Food Lion.

Free turkey at Foodtown

At Foodtown, shoppers could earn a FREE turkey or a $10 store gift card with their Club Card and a cumulative purchase totaling $400.

Free turkey from The Fresh Grocer

Shoppers who spent $400 using the same The Fresh Grocer Rewards card at any participating location were eligible to redeem their rewards for ONE FREE or discounted participating Holiday item.

Free turkey from Giant Eagle

At Giant Eagle, myPerks members could earn a free turkey when they spent $350 between 10/16/25 and 11/9/25. Loyalty members who met the $350 threshold by November 9th could claim their free turkey when they used their myPerks Loyalty Card on any transaction through 11/30/25.

Giant/Martin’s shoppers could redeem their points for a FREE turkey.

From November 1st through Thanksgiving 2025, Giant/Martin’s shoppers could redeem 400 Giant Choice Points or Martin’s Choice Points for a free frozen Shady Brook Farms Turkey (max. 20 lbs.) or $1.00/lb. off the price of any other turkey (max. 20 lbs.), store brand ham, or local boneless ham. Additional options included a free tofurkey roast or a Stouffer’s Party Size Entrée.

Harris Teeter had turkeys for just 29¢/lb.

VIC members could get a Harris Teeter Premium Frozen Turkey for just 29¢/lb. with an additional $40 purchase (not including the turkey). Note that there was a limit of one turkey per member at this price.

H-E-B gave customers a free turkey with the purchase of select hams.

Through November 27th, 2025, H-E-B customers got a free frozen RiverSide Grade A Turkey (up to 12 lbs.) with the purchase of a H-E-B Spiral Sliced Bone-In Half or Whole Ham or H-E-B Boneless Spiral Sliced Ham.

This offer was valid with the yellow in-store coupon or with instant savings online.

FREE turkey with the purchase of a ham from Hy-Vee

At Hy-Vee, you could get a free Honeysuckle White Frozen Turkey (10-14 lbs) with the purchase of a Hormel Cure 81 whole boneless ham. Members could add this offer to their Hy-Vee account to claim their free turkey!

Ibotta users could score a free turkey for Thanksgiving 2025.

Through November 26th, 2025, existing Ibotta users could score a cash back offer to redeem for a FREE Turkey by referring a friend to join Ibotta by November 23rd.

Even better, when your friend (a new Ibotta user) joined by November 23rd and submitted their receipts by November 26th, they earned an entire FREE Thanksgiving dinner, including a turkey, sides, and dessert, with Ibotta offers in their account!

MPerks Members could get turkey for just 32¢ per pound at Meijer.

This sale was valid through November 27th and had a limit of one while supplies last.

Chopper Shopper Rewards members could earn a free Turkey from Price Chopper.

At Price Chopper, Rewards members could redeem 1,200 points for a free Best Choice frozen turkey, up to a $25 value. If your chosen turkey cost more than $25, you received a $25 discount off the final cost. You could also choose to redeem your points for a Smithfield Hickory Smoked Spiral Half Ham instead!

Free turkey with the purchase of a ham at Rouses Markets

At Rouses Markets, you could get up to 12 lbs. free on a Butterball Grade A Frozen Turkey with the purchase of a Hormel Cure 81 at $2.99/lb. There was a limit of one free turkey per customer with a $25 in-store purchase.

Free turkey with your minimum purchase at ShopRite

ShopRite customers who spent $400 between October 26th and November 27th  qualified for a free Turkey (any size up to 21 lbs.) OR $1.59 off per pound toward the purchase of another turkey with your Price Plus Club card.

A cumulative purchase of $400+ also qualified you for several other rewards. See the complete selection here.

Note that this offer was not valid in Maryland.

Weis shoppers could redeem their Rewards Points for a free turkey.

Through November 27th, 2025, Weis Rewards members could score a free Weis Quality Frozen Turkey when they redeemed 400 Weis Rewards Points. If you weren’t able to earn 400 points, you could redeem 200 points and pay just 29¢/lb for your turkey!

Free turkey with your $125 purchase at Winco.

From November 19th through November 26th, 2025, Winco shoppers could get a FREE frozen Honeysuckle White, Northern Pride, or Jennie-O Grade A turkey with a qualifying purchase of $125 (before the cost of the turkey). There was a limit of one offer per family while supplies last.
