I purchased this milk frother so I could make Starbucks cold foam at home. This frother is perfect for it! It takes a minute to froth to the right consistency, but it is much more practical to use at home than the actual $500 cold foamers they have at Starbucks. As a former barista, I can say it is just as good! It is very easy to clean, I just run it under the faucet immediately after use, and then turn it on a few times to get it mostly dry.
If anyone wants the cold foam ratios it is 1 part vanilla syrup (you can buy bottles at some Starbucks if you want it to taste exactly the same), 2 parts 2% milk, and 3 parts heavy whipping cream. Enjoy your homemade Starbucks cold foam!!

We received this milk frother in an auction basket and planned to give it away. For us it seemed like clutter. We don’t drink “fancy” coffee. However we tried it to mix in collagen protein… Then remembered the container of dried coconut milk powder we never used because it was so clumpy…then we used it to make whipped cream, and salad dressing. Now I find myself using it all the time for all kinds of things. We love it. Its size is deceiving, it’s a very powerful little tool.
