I use these to pre-chill my 75qt and 125qt coolers before use in a food truck. I keep these in a deep freeze and pop them into the coolers overnight to lower the temp inside. By 10am the next day they are still frozen solid and the coolers are ready to rock for a day of service. By the time I roll back into the kitchen at night, they’re ready to pre-chill the coolers again. Saves me $$$ on ice.
Hard to give a bad review for an ice pack, but I imagine there are some out there that probably don’t actually freeze or something. 5-stars! It freezes and keeps things cold in a school lunch box, at least for a few hours. It’s still a little bit cold when it comes home 7 hours later, too.
I was looking for an ice pack to put in my lunch bag, and this fits the bill! I am very happy with these because they are small enough to fit and don’t take up too much room. My lunch bag is decently large it’s probably 12 inches tall by 8 inches wide, and one ice pack seems to keep it cool at least until lunchtime.

We often have power outages due to extreme weather and these are a necessity to have stocked in our freezer. My entire top shelf is packed with them as are the interior door shelves. We do have a gas generator but when electricity is out, that also applies to our local gas stations so the pumps won’t work.
Such a great idea to have these on hand, Thia! 🙌💖Thanks for taking a moment to comment!
I don’t see the small one at that price.
Darn, Patty! 😢I see that one is sold out. I’ve updated the post with the medium size.👍
