We often have power outages due to extreme weather and these are a necessity to have stocked in our freezer. My entire top shelf is packed with them as are the interior door shelves. I bought this to freeze for my granddaughter’s lunchbox and it stays cold for several hours. It also makes a great, impromptu ice pack for small boo-boos.
These are thin, so they fit easily in a lunchbox or cooler, and they stay cold all day. I tried several types of ice packs for my kids’ lunchboxes, and these are by far the best. I pack them at 7:00 am, and they’re still cold when the kids get home at 3:30.
