The Mixer arrived in a matter of days in excellent condition. I am still getting used to the bowl-lift aspects of the Professional 5, but am very pleased with how this 525-watt model powers its way through the heaviest of bread and cookie doughs effortlessly. Billowy peaks of whipped cream and cake batters are mastered with ease, too. I’ve used the mixer for both small and large batches with excellent results.

I bought this to replace my 20-year-old 300 watts 4 qt. mixer. The old one still worked, but for the amount of baking I do, I needed something more powerful. This new mixer can mix my entire double batch of soft pretzel dough!! It mixed it without any type of strain. It was awesome! Saved me a lot of hand kneading.

They’ve all showed up out of stock for me since last night 🙁

Don’t be too sad ladies. I bought one a couple weeks ago and returned it immediately. I have a tilt-head kitchenaid mixer and LOVE it so I thought I’d buy this model. I personally disliked it. Every time you remove the bowl you have to remove the attachment as well. You don’t HAVE to remove the attachment but you would then have to tilt your bowl for the clearance under the attachment, therefore spilling out the ingredients in the bowl. Just wanted to make you aware and to not be too upset. Definitely go with a kitchenaid mixer with a TILT-HEAD. 🙂

Thanks for the honest review, Jessica. We sure appreciate the feedback.

I agree! I used a bowl lift machine and had to make sure someone helped me take the bowl off. It was tricky to get off and when the bowl was full it was worse. The glass bowls are even worse than the stainless ones. The glass bowls look nice but are heavy as hell without anything in them. For those reasons I will stick with my tilt head machine.
