Check out what reviewers are saying about this soil…
Lowe’s has had the best price on these bags that I’ve seen (when on sale), and I’ve compared it to many other stores. I live in an area with a lot of clay and this stuff is like gold to me. The bags are heavy and require some muscle to lift.
I’ve purchased cheaper soil, but it was not the quality of Miracle-Gro. This stuff is black and has the fertilizing pellets in it. I use it for plants and underneath fresh sod that I also like to buy at Lowe’s in the Spring. The combination produces some great-looking grass.
This is my first time gardening. I have 2 raised beds that we partially filled with native soil then added Miracle-Gro garden soil to one and when we went to get more they didn’t have any so we bought a different brand. The Miracle-Gro bed did great and the other nothing grew. I even fertilized the sad-looking bed. I will get more Miracle-Gro and hopefully fix the other bed.
I placed my order for store pickup. I didn’t want to miss the sale, but not driving 20 miles to get them today. I plan to be there on Friday, so got the sale price and hoping they hold them for 2 days until I get there. π
Call and ask them to hold until friday. Most places will extend pick up dates
How big a bag is this ?? Like in pound size
I don’t know how many pounds this is, but I can give you a good way to visualize how much soil is in the bag. This bag would be enough to fill just over a five-gallon bucket, Oz2448. The five-gallon buckets are the big yellow buckets they have at Lowe’s or the big orange buckets they have at Home Depot.
Thank you so much , that helps me
You are welcome! Happy Spring planting, Oz2448! πΈπ·πΊ
