We have operated this unit for the summer and it has done amazingly well. The thermostat actually aligns with the correct temperature! It is a powerful unit and we felt an immediate difference in the room temperature. I can honestly say that I haven’t found a downside to it. While its energy efficiency isn’t the best rated in comparable units, I find the value exceeded my expectations as its ability to cool a room made it so that the unit wasn’t having to work hard (it didn’t need to run constantly). Setup and breakdown were fast and easy (we just stored it for the winter).
I never had any issues so I can’t speak to customer service accessibility (which I love when things work right from the beginning). All-in-all, a great product!
