    I just got a refund of $68!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

      WOOT! 🙌🎉

  2. frecklelily

I’m terribly confused. I have Walmart ($98) and Sam’s Club ($60). They want to charge me $40 to combine them both. I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong in order for it to be cheaper.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

So sorry for the confusion! Walmart just announced that you can now get both Walmart+ and Sam’s Club Plus together for $120/year. Since you’re already paying for both, try opening your Sam’s Club app, going to Account → Link Accounts, and signing in to your existing Walmart account when prompted.

Most members who already pay for both are eligible for a prorated Walmart+ refund, too! If it’s still asking you to pay $40, I’d hold off on confirming the charge and contact Walmart support to make sure your accounts are eligible and you’re getting the correct offer. Hope this helps! ❤️

      • frecklelily

I got it to work. I had to pay to upgrade my Sam’s to Plus and then it linked the accounts and gave me a refund of $58. I had to trust the process.

        • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

OH GOOD!❤️🎉 Thanks for the update!

    • jill

if you don’t have Sams Club Plus, it might be charging you the $40 to upgrade your Sam’s acct first then it can combine the Walmart+. if it’s just the “regular” Sam’s membership, that one doesn’t include the Walmart + membership…..

  3. laharrelson

    Awesome!! Thanks for posting this!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

      You’re so welcome!

  4. Amber

    88$ back! Thank you!!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

      SWEET! You’re very welcome!

  5. MelB

So does anyone know about how the Parmount Plus & Peacock work? I already have both as a paid subscription, but we should get one free with the addition of Walmart plus right?

    • jill

if you go to your Walmart + benefits, you’ll see the link to sign up for either Peacock or Paramount Plus. then when you choose, it will take you to either channel to create an acct or log into your acct and link it to Walmart +

      • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks a bunch for the helpful response! 🥰

      • MelB

Thank you. I will try that.

        • Steffi

If you are a longtime Xfinity customer, you may want to take a look at the Xfinity rewards. A lot of times Peacock is free …

          • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

YES! Great suggestion! Thanks for the helpful comment!

          • Gayla

            Same with Spectrum

    • Nk

As someone else said if you have Xfinity you may be eligible for Peacock free…. Otherwise keep in mind depending how often you stream you can switch between peacock and Paramount every 6 months with Walmart+ .
I had been paying for Peacock before realizing I could switch then realized I got Peacock free through Xfinity so I’m happy I learned about it and stopped paying 🤦‍♀️. Also for an additional, I believe $50 you can upgrade the paramount+ to commercial free (good deal since it’s free and that covers the whole year!!)

  6. Kathy

    Help please
I’m already have a Sam’s Club plus membership but no Walmart membership. What should I do ? Apply for Walmart membership , then link accounts and wait for refund ????

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Nope! 😊 If you already have a Sam’s Club Plus membership, you shouldn’t need to purchase a separate Walmart+ membership first! Just open your Sam’s Club app, go to Account → Link Accounts, and follow the prompts to sign in to your existing Walmart account or create one if needed. Walmart+ is included at no additional cost with your Sam’s Club Plus membership. ❤️

      • Kathy R

        Thank you so much ❤️
You guys are the best !!!

        • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Aww, You’re most welcome! Thank YOU for the sweet comment! SO glad to help you snag that savings! 🎉❤️🙌

  7. Sarah Kinnard

This may be a silly question. But where do we see the refund in our bank account or credit card? Or is it a credit on sam’s club or walmart?

    • Sarah Kinnard

      I found it

      • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

        Yay! Thanks for the update!

Ugh I am having a rough go.. have sams club plus.. and when I go to link to walmart plus it keeps telling me error please try again later.
Not sure if maybe the system is overwhelmed or what

    • Nora-Lee Rodriguez

I have a friend having the same issue, maybe too many people signing up?

      • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

That could be! This is likely getting a ton of traffic if they wanted to keep trying!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

So sorry for the troubles. This may be getting a ton of traffic right now. Maybe wait a bit and try again. Hoping it works for you soon!

    • KatyL

I’m having the same issue. It’s telling me I am not a Plus member but I am!!

      • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

DARN! Maybe wait a bit and try once more. If still having troubles, be sure to reach out to customer service. Hoping this works for you soon!

    • Fmimom

I kept getting an error. It’s because for some reason I had my Sam’s Club account under a different email. It wouldn’t let me change email addresses. So, I had to create a Walmart account under the same email as I used for my Sam’s Club account (unlike others I didn’t have a paid Walmart+ account). Once both accounts had matching email addresses I got them to link without a problem. So, you might want to make sure you’re using the same address for both.

      • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks for the helpful response! Good to know you spotted the different emails and were able to get it sorted out and linked! 🙌

  9. Lisa

I have a disaster. I signed up in Feb. for Sam’s on a discount $99 and $60 Sam’s cash and used my Gmail account because my AOL account wasn’t working because of a membership 5 years prior. I signed up for Walmart in May using my AOL account and paid like 60 with a AARP discount. I just went on Sam’s clicking around because not sure if I should just wait because of the discount accounts and I clicked merge. Well, seeing that my Walmart has a different email address it looks like I have 2 Walmart accounts now. Just a heads up if you used different emails, because then you won’t get a refund. So now I’m really confused on what to do.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks for the heads up on that, Lisa. That does sound tricky! Maybe try reaching out to customer service to see if they can help you get them linked!

      • Lisa

After doing some reading on Sam’s I’m wondering if I should just leave it alone. It states if you cancel your $120 renewal which that would be in Feb. For my Sam’s, that it also cancels your Walmart which mine ends in May. It could make things more complicated for the future.

        • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

You might try confirming with customer service to be sure you have selected the best option for you!

  10. Kenny Tucker

I linked my account Walmart plus and Sams plus but it did not show me a refund

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

DARN! Maybe keep checking as this is likely getting a lot of traffic. If you still don’t see it, maybe reach out to customer service to check on that for you! ❤️

  11. Laura J Corbin

This is awesome! Thank you for the heads-up

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

      You’re SO very welcome! 🙌

  12. Sharon

    Thanks! I received a $58 refund

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

      Woohoo! You’re welcome, Sharon!

  13. Lolie

    Wow! Thank you for sharing!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

      You’re welcome!

  14. Sue

Anyone know how this works if for someone who has a 2nd card? My son is off mine and he has W+, but I just opted not to renew mine. Curious if the 2nd card can benefit since technically he paid for W+. Has any other person asked customer service? I’d love to know if you have. Thanks ☺️

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

Good question, Sue! ❤️ From what I’m seeing in the terms, the Walmart+ benefit is tied to the primary Sam’s Club Plus member, so I’m not sure how that would work with your son’s separate Walmart+ account and secondary Sam’s card. I’d definitely check with Sam’s Club customer service before making any changes to either membership! Hopefully they can help you figure out the best option. 🤗

      • Sue

Thank you, Jessica. I figured if someone had the same scenario hopefully they will share. I’m assuming they’ll be answering other people for a while.

        • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

          You bet! 💕

  15. Michelle Morford

I linked the accounts, how do I see if I qualify for a refund?

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

Hi Michelle! ❤️ If you’re eligible for a prorated refund, it looks like the amount should pop up once you’ve linked your accounts! If you didn’t see anything about a refund, I’d recommend checking with Walmart+ customer service to see if your membership qualifies. Hope this helps! 🤗

  16. CincySC

The Walmart+ account is under my name with my email address and the Sam’s Club account is under my Hubbys name and email address. Do I need to do anything special to get this to link up – like make them both the same email before merging?

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

Hi there! I did a little checking, and while the FAQs explain how to link your accounts, I’m not finding anything that specifically addresses accounts under different names. I’d recommend checking with Walmart+ or Sam’s Club customer service before changing either email address, just to be sure everything links correctly!

  17. alice lester

You have to have the Sams Club plus + memebership and Walmart . THe regular Sams club memberships still wants you to upgrade to plus and chargefor the extra

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

Yes! ❤️ The upgrade to Plus is an additional cost for regular Club members, but Walmart+ is then included at no extra charge.

  18. Linda

I thought I was going to have major problems … my Walmart + was discounted through AARP …. My Sam’s Club Plus was discount through my company, but that was being non renewed. I used your link to Walmart + and everything went super smoothly… they connected the two with no problem and just extended my non renewed Sams Club plus membership to match my Walmart plus membership renewal. Of course no refund as both my memberships were heavily discounted to start with, but I am super happy to have them together and actually not that much more than I was paying. Thank you so much for everything you do to make our lives so much better!!

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

You’re so welcome, Linda! 💕 I love hearing that everything went so smoothly, especially with both memberships having different discounts! 🙌 And thank you for those incredibly sweet words. They mean so much to us! 🥰

  19. Julie Peters

Great timing! I just used the 50% off Walmart + since mine expires the first week in November but since I have the Sams membership I’m actually getting a super small refund but shouldn’t be charged in November – thanks so much! Oh and I won one of the Big Ass Chipotle bags!🤣🤣

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

You’re welcome, Julie! Talk about perfect timing with your renewal coming up! 🙌 And you won one of the Chipotle bags?! 🤯🎉 Congrats!!

  20. Sara

I got a $2.11 refund since my base Walmart+ membership was discounted down to $58 through AARP, and my Walmart+ membership was set to renew 11/1/26. My InHome add-on will still be billed separately. It will be a prorated charge for 11/1/26 until my Sam’s Club renewal on 1/4/27. I will be charged the full annual InHome price on 1/4/27 since that will become my new renewal date.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks for the breakdown of how each service is working out for you, Sara!

  21. IB

    For $40 refund..thanks!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

      So good! 🙌 You’re welcome!

  22. Debbie

I’m so happy about this. I have both of these and this is very convenient. In my opinion, this is a brilliant move by them.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

YES! We’re loving this too, Debbie! 🎉🥰🙌

  23. Sara

I get Walmart plus for $50 a year because we are low income. But when I try to get the deal through the link or upgrade it’s charging me a full 70 more.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

It sounds like your discounted Walmart+ membership may be affecting the upgrade price. ❤️ You might try contacting Walmart support before upgrading to see if your discounted rate can be applied to the new offer. Hoping they can help!

  24. redhead888

I get Walmart plus free with my credit card. and I pay for Sam’s Club plus is there a way to link Walmart to Sam’s Club versus linking Sam’s Club to Walmart?

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Yes! 😊 Since you have Sam’s Club Plus, you should be able to activate Walmart+ at no additional cost. You can start from the Sam’s Club app by going to Account → Link Accounts and signing in to your existing Walmart account.

However, since you receive Walmart+ free through your credit card, You might check the offer’s terms or contact support before linking to confirm how it will affect that benefit. ❤️

  25. Jan

Do we use our Sams card when shopping at Walmart?

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

No, you’ll still use your regular Walmart account or Walmart app when shopping at Walmart! 😊 Once your Sam’s Club Plus and Walmart+ accounts are linked, your Walmart+ benefits should be connected to your Walmart account. You can continue using your Sam’s Club membership card at Sam’s Club as usual. ❤️

  26. Patricia Krueger

Does anyone know how this deal works if you used the half price coupon earlier in the year so your walmart renewal is 50% off when it renews? My walmart + doesn’t renew until January and it is showing it will be $49. I’m worried that if I add the sam’s club it will renew in January for $120 and I will lose my discount. Anyone try this yet who had a discount for a future renewal?

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Good question! You could confirm with Walmart or Sam’s Club support if linking the memberships preserves your existing promotional renewal price or switches you to the $120 combined annual rate.

Walmart’s official eligibility page confirms that members with a promotional Walmart+ discount may lose that discount when switching to the combined plan. Hope this is helpful!

  27. Donna Houchen

Woo Hoo! Got $70 back. I have had both memberships (Sam’s Club Plus and Walmart Plus) so this was a GREAT deal and savings for me! Thanks Hip2Save for posting this!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Yay! 🎉I’m so glad you could grab that savings, Donna! You’re most welcome! 🥰

  28. Starr

Thank you. I saved 38.70. Any time I can save money it’s a plus. I love you guys.

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

🥹 Appreciate your sweet comment, Starr! You’re very welcome! LOVE hearing that you saved money with this offer! 🙌
