Succulent plants are one of the easiest plants to take care of as they need very little water to survive — perfect for people who want plants but don’t have a lot of time and/or space. 🪴
I love succulents and think they’re so unique since they store their own water in their leaves to help them survive which gives them their “waxy” appearance. Plus, you can’t beat the ease of taking care of them which is why I think anyone would love getting a Succulent Studios delivery right to their door!
This plant subscription box includes two 8-week-old baby succulents grown in California using only organic fertilizer. Even better, they ship in 100% plastic-free packaging and in biodegradable pots so when your little succulents outgrow their home, you can just place it in a bigger planter and add a little more soil.
If your succulents happen to arrive damaged, most succulents are really hardy and can easily be regrown! Their customer service is happy to offer tips to help regrow your plant baby, or they will ship you a new box of succulents if yours arrive in a state of disrepair.
You’ll also receive a care guide and a card specific to your plants so you’ll know just how to take care of them! Plant them indoors in a cute container or take them outside in the summer! If you plant them outdoors, they do great in rock gardens and you can even plant them between the seams in retaining walls.

Now go find your new plant babies a home! 😍
I’ve gotten many succulents from them when there’s sales. They’re always great. Had a broken succulent one time and customer service immediately shipped out a whole box AND sent instructions of how to bring the broken one back to life. It worked and now I’ve got 4!
Thanks so much for taking a moment to share about this company and their awesome customer service, Lexie! 🙌🪴
Wondering if there are any strings attached to cancelling? I’m always reluctant about subscriptions after my experience with Barkbox.
Hey Nancy! I did spot this information in the post for you on this – “If you decide Succulent Studios isn’t for you, you can also cancel your membership at ANY time online by simply going to your account and clicking “Cancel Membership”. Best of all, there are NO cancellation fees!” Hoping this might be helpful! ❤️
You’re welcome! 💓
Looking for the shipping price on their site, but not having any luck. This looks like such a cute gift idea.
Hey Dani! The first Succulent Studios box w/ a free bonus plant is just $5 and includes shipping when you enter the promo code mentioned in the post above. For the subsequent deliveries, I spotted this in the FAQ for you – “Shipping is a flat rate of $6.50 anywhere in the U.S.!” Hoping that’s helpful! 🪴❤️
I saw their site list a flat $6.50 to ship.
I appreciate your reply! Thanks for a great gifting idea!
So neat that you can gift a month to someone else. And $16.50 with the shipping is a pretty affordable gift idea and would be a fun surprise to send to someone.
Pretty big heads up on this promo. While it is a good deal, this promo code does not get you the featured succulents for the current month. Example is, for December there is a rare Buddha temple plant which looks super cool. However it is not a plant included with this promo. This was all only found out when my first delivery arrived without the December featured plants. Succulent studios also does not budge or help on the customer service end. They simply send you a picture of an ad, not featured here in this article, showing what plants you actually get.
So sorry for any confusion, Jim. ❤️ Thanks so much for the heads up on your experience. I don’t find that specific plant listed for this offer.
So what are the plants for this promo?
**Update!** Please read for those interested in subscribing: Succulent Studios was very helpful in the end! I don’t blame them for this experience at all. Please don’t hesitate to give them your business folks😎 They put forth a ton of guest service and you will be a valued customer!
Turns out this promo code was to only be used through a place called Cactus Media which has the exact details and pictures of what you get listed. Amber, that is why you don’t see, not only that plant, but any specific plants listed here for the offer.
They reiterated they can’t control what other people copy and paste to their own blogs, which I totally understand. This is the case here and the details should’ve been more thoroughly explained when this post went live. I don’t care so much about deals in this case, it’s the deception.
Thanks for sharing this update, Jim! We are checking further into the details on this offer! 💕
