Target Is Replacing Ulta Beauty Shops With a Brand-New Beauty Experience

ICYMI, Target is moving forward with its plans to replace in-store Ulta Beauty shop-in-shops with the new Target Beauty Studio this fall. The retailer first shared the news last year, and the rollout is now just around the corner.
The new beauty destination will launch in more than 600 stores nationwide and online, featuring 80+ prestige and emerging beauty brands, including 60 brands that are completely new to Target! Shoppers can also expect skincare, haircare, fragrance, cosmetics, exclusive product launches, and knowledgeable beauty team members to help with recommendations.
In the meantime, you can still shop Ulta Beauty at Target in stores and online through August before the new concept begins rolling out this fall.
Where can I shop for the best beauty deals now?
Let’s be clear: Target is being forced to pivot on the previous Ulta Beauty sections, because Ulta made the decision last year to pull out of Target stores. This is a direct result of Target’s lack of commitment to diversity and inclusion, and since those values matter to Ulta, THEY ended this partnership with Target. We don’t shop at Target anymore, but we do support Ulta!
