Jane.com is coming back with hopes to be better than ever.

The Jane.Com website announcing the return of Jane.com

Jane.com is making a comeback and the new owners aim to rebuild your trust.

The popular online retailer, Jane.com, abruptly shut down last November, right as the holiday season was getting underway. 😔 After the sudden closure, many customers reported their orders were left unfilled, and sellers complained that they were locked out of the seller’s portal and not paid in a timely manner (or at all). The commotion even resulted in police opening an investigation into the site.

We were positive we had seen the last of Jane.com, which had been one of our favorite places to get personalized goods and unique designs. But now, just a few months later, the site has new owners, and they have posted an interesting message on the old Jane.com website.

The message states the new owners are “deeply aware of the challenges and disappointments faced by the Jane.com community.” They hope to revive the site and regain your trust through transparency, aiming to create an environment where sellers and customers feel “valued and secure.”

The new Jane.com will continue to be a community-driven marketplace. Other changes include improved customer and seller experience, streamlined product listings, and more exclusive deals.

The tentative launch date for the new site is May 31, 2024, though time will tell if this relaunch is successful. We’re keeping our fingers crossed for them!

The new Jane.com is hiring employees and looking to pair with sellers.

The old Jane.com burned bridges with many of its designers, sellers, and employees. But now the new owners (who have no affiliation with the previous owners) are looking for sellers and employees willing to help them rebuild Jane.com.

Sellers interested in working with the new owners should fill out the Jane Seller Interest Form. Both new and previous sellers are welcome to apply, and those who previously sold on Jane.com will not need to recreate their accounts.

Those looking for direct employment with Jane.com can complete the Jane Employee Interest Form.

Do you have an unresolved issue with the old Jane.com? Here’s some helpful info…

Avoid this site. I wasn’t happy that I ordered something, was charged, and never received a refund from Jane. PayPal, on the other hand, was awesome and refunded me. Thank you, PayPal.

So sorry to hear about your previous experience with this site, alliekat5656! 🤗 That does sound frustrating! Glad you were able to get a refund through PayPal for your item! Hoping you might have a better experience in the future if you decide to give them a try again! ❤️

New owners. I’m open to that👍

They owe previous sellers/vendors over 20 million dollars. I have an entire packet from DSI with all the numbers. Even with new owners it will be an uphill battle. Hard Pass.

I’m wondering how they’re going to resolve this, also! I know MANY small shops were devastated by this and are still owed money. Saying you want to “rebuild trust,” and heck, even taking over the site, is in poor taste until something is put into place for the formers sellers/vendors.

I can’t believe you would post this! Jane can not be trusted and they took people’s money and ran with it!

The new owners seem to be the old owners, just under a different LLC. They’re using a name for the LLC that wouldn’t be well-known unless you worked at the company early on (I was there for 5 years, left in 2020). I wouldn’t trust their relaunch at all, they’re shady people.

Hey Zac! Thanks so much for sharing your experience with working with the previous Jane.com. 💕 When checking the FAQ, I did spot this –
Are you affiliated with the previous Jane.com owners?
No, we have no affiliations with the past owners of Jane.com.

Hoping this is still the case! ❤️🤞
