Wacoal strapless bra

This one is a keeper, my friends.

I think every woman has struggled at least once in their life with a finicky strapless bra. I was in the market for a strapless bra a few years ago, you know, one that would really hold me up even after having a couple of kids. After reading tons of reviews, I ended up purchasing the Wacoal Strapless Bra from Amazon and it is by far the best strapless bra on the market!

In the past, I had numerous problems with my strapless bras:

  • My boobs would overlap the top or sides of the bra (this is what I mean when I say “flimsy” as my girls really need to be held in place).
  • The area between my chest and armpit (as I so lovingly call my second set of boobs) would be squished into odd-looking chunks.
  • The bra would give my chest a funky looking shape.
  • The underwire would dig into my sides.
  • The bra would lose its shape over time.
  • They were always uncomfortable overall.

When I started my search for the perfect strapless bras, I came across so many new styles available on the market. I’ll admit, I was intrigued but I could tell there was NO WAY my rather “flimsy” boobs were going to be held up by them. I was even hesitant to try the Wacoal bra but after one day of wearing it, I knew this bra was made for ME! 😍

Why this strapless bra is unlike any other bra I’ve ever worn:

  • It’s full coverage without spillage over the top or sides.
  • It perfects the shape of my chest by keeping each side separate rather than squishing them together.
  • It’s secure to the point where I feel confident going for a run while wearing this bra… it’s that good!
  • It’s incredibly comfortable and the band sits at a normal height on the back rather than creeping up into view when wearing low-back shirts.
  • It looks the same as when I bought it years ago and hasn’t lumped or lost its shape.

I think one of the most notable qualities of this bra is its size-inclusivity with a range from 30D to 44G. It’s truly made for everyone!

Better yet, you don’t even have to take my word for it—you can try it yourself risk-free! Depending on the size and color you choose, the Wacoal Strapless Bra is available on Prime Wardrobe so you can try it out for 7 days before committing to buying, though I have a feeling once you give it a shot, you’ll fall in love.

Amen, sister, this bra is THAT GOOD. As a DDD, I’ve tried them all but this is the first one I’ve actually not dreaded wearing.

    • Crystal

I’m with you, Angela. The post said, “made for everyone,” and then started with size D. The boob blessed crowd forgets there are some of us poor souls who barely outgrew their training bras😉😂!!

      • 36G

Did you click on the link? It has a ton of sizes, including smaller bands and cups.

And take it from someone with big boobs- it’s not exactly a picnic lol. Buying bras is very difficult b/c unlike smaller-chested women, we can’t easily find bras in larger sizes without having to buy online (often sight unseen). I can’t walk into Victoria’s Secret and walk out w/ a bra that’ll fit me. I have to buy mine at Nordstrom and the kind that I need start at around $70 each and since you need at least 4 bras to rotate in between washes, that adds up very quickly. Just a little perspective!

        • Mouni

          I’m smaller chest
          We and I

          It’s I
          Impossible
to find a bra where the band fits right and doesn’t ride up. I’m constantly having to reajust and ita PITA. It’s also hard to find shirts that look flattering. Trust me it’s not easy on this side either.

      Same 🙁

I was so excited to see this post until I saw that the bar is for larger chests! I am about a 32/34B and cannot for the life of me find a strapless bra that does not fall down (I’m constantly pulling mine up!). Any suggestions?

    • Sub

I’m not sure why you think that it’s for larger chests…they even have your size available. Also I highly recommend getting a fitting done (NOT at Victoria’s Secret where they don’t know what they’re doing, but at a place like Nordstrom or a bra boutique). If your bras are falling down, then it sounds like you’re wearing the wrong size.

      • Mouni

That happens to smaller chested women. I have the same problem. We don’t have much to hold those bras up.š

    • patricia

You may not be wearing the right bra size if they keep falling down. I got sized at victorias secret and ordered strapless wacoal with the same suzing and it fits perfectly. I also have victorias secret strapless bras and they never slide down.

  3. Pc

Andrea, I noticed they do have size 34B.

  4. Michelle

I was excited about the perfect strapless until I saw the price tag. The tightwad in me simply cannot do it. If anyone comes across one comparable but less expensive please let us know.

  5. Mary

OMG!!! It’s $68 for my size. I cannot afford that. I wish I could.

  6. Lo

I wish the post included the price upfront.
Anywho my daughter is just starting with bras and we have tons of laughs trying different ones and me explaining why strapless ones suck đŸ¤ŖđŸ¤Ŗ

  7. dblD amber

So agree. It’s amazing. I bought mine through Nordstrom’s sale and cant believe I didnt get it earlier. Absolutely worth the money. Stays in place and supports well. A must in every wardrobe.

    • dblD amber

Similar prices at Nordstrom and a greater range of sizes

  8. Karley

I started having better luck getting my bras from Lane Bryant’s Cacique line. They are a bit pricey, but I usually buy them when they have their semi annual sale! My favorite is the full coverage back smoother! Typically $60ish, but during the sale, I can snag them for $30-$35!

    • Rachel

I do this too! They are great bras and the price isn’t bad when they are on sale. They last a long time.

  9. Stacie

I buy all of my Wacoal’s from the Rack – it’s at least 30% off if not more :o)

  10. Amy

I guess I saved myself $68 by refusing to wear anything that requires a strapless bra!

  11. Becca

Does anyone have any suggestions on sports bras? I would LOVE to find a supportive sports bra for someone who is very blessed in the boob area. Thanks!

    • dblD amber

Amazon basics have a sports bra with a built in cup. Very supportive and functional, coming from a double d momma of 5.

    • Cassie

I like the Glamorise No Bounce Sports Bras, they’re like $25 on Amazon (I don’t care about the color, so I pick the cheap one, some of the cuter ones are around $30). They work like a champ, go on like a regular bra versus a stretchy over the head thing, and hold the girls in place. Why did I try them? Because Good Mythical Morning (two men) were trying sports bras one day and wearing water balloons (because they’re men) and this was one of the few ones that held the water balloons in place while they did handstands and jumped around. LOL!

Plus it has like 8900 reviews and is 4 stars.

      • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

LOL! I love Good Mythical Morning and need to go watch that episode, Cassie!

        • Cassie

It was fantastic! I highly recommend

        • Cassie

I looked it up, it’s call the Ultimate Sports Bra Test Season 11 Episode 71 for anyone interested.

      • krystal

Love good mythical morning! It’s one of the few “shows” we watch as a family… now I’m going to go look for this episode!

  12. Sue P.

Call me old fashioned, but don’t really appreciate the headline blaring about “boobs” ☚ī¸

    • Youngfashioned

      Hey Oldfashioned!!
      🙂

    • shop4mybabies

weird, my grandma is old fashioned and she boobs too. i blame her for my giant ones
nothing about our bodies should be taboo…women talking to and sharing with other women is how we learn not to be ashamed about boobs, periods, feminine issues

  13. Emily

If your bra is falling down it’s likely you’re wearing the wrong size. I 100% would recommend getting a fitting (and not at Victorias Secret – they put me in a 36DDD when I actually wear a 36GG/36J). The bra band and cups should be doing all the supporting, not the straps. Since it sounds like the bra is falling down, try a smaller band (you may need to size up the cups).

    • Cassie

Agreed! And some women go up in band size (that whole “sister size” thing) so it’s looser. But I found a band that fits snug on the 3rd loops (like a hug, not cutting into you) is better than going bigger. That way when your bra stretches, you can go tighter, and it won’t fall.

  14. Emily

Oops. That didn’t show up under the one I replied too. Ha ha.

But for those keeping score at home, VS put me in a bra that was 4 cup sizes too small because they aren’t size inclusive.

When I bought my first bra that actually fit (at the age of 26), I cried.

    • shop4mybabies

we stopped shopping in store at VS when the girl said quite rudely to my daughters face “we don’t sell bras that small and glared at her chest” the bra my daughter had on came from three

  15. Lisa

If you have a Nordstrom Rack check their prices, they usually have Wacoal bras at half the price. 😊

  16. Liz

Google how to keep a strapless bra up and you’ll see images of wrapping a loose bra strap under the bra. Awesome tip that works!

  17. *Angela-Miles*

I guess im in the minority because whenever I wear a shirt or dress that requires a strapless bra, I just go braless majority of that time Lol. I was blessed with a big butt instead of big boobs so, it doesnt really stand out when im not wearing a bra. Now if its a lace top or something super thin thats a different story. Otherwise I do not care to go freely haha 😉

    • dblD amber

I agree, braless is the way to go. I teach so I cant always go braless, but I do as much as I can. Weekends are definitely no bras and especially with sweater weather coming in.

      • *Angela-Miles*

Yesss let them breathe LoL! You just reminded me of one of many reasons why I love cold weather 🙂 ….thick jackets, jeggings and sweaters! Some people judge when others dont wear bras, but ive learned to ignore them. Most of the winter I love either going braless or wearing sports bras, and no will notice with the layers on. I can even pull it off at work in the winter Lol…i understand with you teaching tho why you couldnt.

  18. Sharon

Angela those doggies barking! I love it.

  19. Amanda

There are lots of used ones on eBay! Might try that first instead of paying the $68 price tag.
