Is your drinking water really as clean as you think it is?

When it comes to your drinking water, you want the purest, cleanest stuff there is—free of chemicals, pesticides, and other harmful contaminants, but is that what you’re actually getting when you fill up your cup from the sink or fridge dispenser?

Believe it or not, the water that flows from your home, your workplace, and many other places is likely swimming with loads of pollutants that are the last thing you should be quenching your thirst with. Enter the Epic Nalgene OG Water Filter Bottle: The solution to the dirty water problems you probably didn’t even know you had.

I tested the Epic Nalgene OG water filter bottle at home and my water has never tasted better.

If you, like me, have been staying hydrated with the ice-cold water from your fridge, you probably assumed that it’s been purified by some internal filtration system that makes it safer to drink. While that may be the case, your fridge filtration system won’t get rid of everything that an Epic water filter will.

A water bottle next to a glass of water on a counter

After moving to a new state recently, I noticed that the water from my fridge tasted a little strange but I thought it was just because I was in a different area and maybe the water tastes a little different out here!

I decided to put my Epic Nalgene OG Water Bottle to the test by filling it up with my fridge water and tasting both the filtered and unfiltered H2O to see if there was even a change in taste and WOW, there was a night and day difference… it blew my mind!

The chemical taste was no longer detectable and the flavor of my water was completely different, in the best way possible! I can’t even imagine how many icky invisible contaminants were floating around in my water and it’s scary to think that my whole family has been drinking it for the last three months, yikes!

Since that day, the only water I gulp down is the water that comes from my Epic Nalgene bottle. 🙌

What exactly does the Epic Nalgene water filter remove?

The short answer: Over 200 tap water contaminants.😱 The long answer: Arsenic, chlorine, copper, microplastics, lead, calcium, aluminum, trace pharmaceutical drugs, pesticides, herbicides, hormones, bacteria, and a slew of other nasty things that you wouldn’t want your least favorite person ingesting.

If the thought of a few or all of those things in your drinking water is as terrifying to you as it was to me, Epic water filters will give you all of the peace of mind you could ask for. The scary truth is that just because you can’t see microscopic particles in your water doesn’t mean they aren’t there! Fortunately, these filters have undergone extensive testing in accordance with NSF/ANSI standards to ensure their effectiveness, too!

One Epic water filter replaces 550+ plastic bottles.😱

If you’re an eco-conscious individual, you’ll be pleased to know that by making the switch to a reusable filtered water bottle, you’ll protect our environment from the harm caused by hundreds upon hundreds of unnecessary single-use plastic bottles. Pretty great, right?!

Epic takes their green initiative very seriously by choosing to use materials that are gentle on the environment and packaging that’s 100% compostable. They even developed a Filter Recycling Program so you can safely dispose of your used filters and get rewarded for it. It’s pretty clear that the Epic team is on a mission to make the world we live in a better, cleaner place and we can be a part of that mission, one Epic water filter at a time.

Hi Brandie! Great question! Here is what I found on that – “Average recommended filter replacement: 3-4 per year if used regularly”. Hope this helps!
