You all know I love a fantastic home decor dupe and when I saw this inexpensive modern chair I was totally stoked to try it out!
Yes, there are a couple of obvious differences between the two – mainly being that the expensive version is real leather, but for the difference in cost, there’s no way I could ever justify the real deal. Plus, the overall style & colors couldn’t be more similar! 🙌

I’ll be the first to admit…
I was skeptical the quality of these chairs wouldn’t be up to my standards (which are pretty high when it comes to furniture). I’ve also been known to splurge on a piece here & there if I really love it, however, I was not willing to spend north of $1,000 when I could get such a similar style for literally a fraction of the cost at Alphamart’s. 🙌
My new mid-century modern chairs arrived super fast and were packaged so nicely that I immediately felt great about this purchase! 👏 (Yes, I bought 2 because our promo is THAT great!) Even better, they took just a few minutes to assemble!
To my surprise, the metal legs which I fully expected to feel cheap, are actually heavy, have a nice textured matte finish, and I know they’re going to hold up well over time just by how they feel!
Plus, the seat is so much classier and comfortable than I imagined. A perfect example that many times the online stock photos just don’t do it any justice! 💯
I honestly think the quality of these modern chairs is equivalent to what you’d pay for at West Elm.
Did I mention how easy these modern chairs are to put together?! Well, it’s worth mentioning again, friends, because each chair only took about 15 minutes to put together (and that’s including unpacking it!).
Plus, it didn’t even require tools since it included the Allen wrench and eight bolts to assemble it. 👏
Overall, I’m really happy with these chairs and think they’re such a great find and if you’re into bringing back mid-century modern pieces like I am, you’ll feel so good about this home furniture dupe!

I’m interested in using these chairs at the end of my dining table. How far off the ground are the chair arms (trying to see if they would fit under my table or if it is too tall, the website doesn’t have that measurement listed)
Hey Christina! I just measured the arms and they are 23 inches from the ground to the top. I also measured the seat itself as I’m not sure they’d be the ideal height for a dining room table, but I wanted to send you the measurements in the case your table sits lower than mine. The seat slopes so the back is 15″ off the ground and the front is 16″ off the ground. I hope this helps!
