Need a recommendation for the BEST frozen pizza?! We love Motor City Pizza!
It’s summertime and the kids and teens are hungry! Sometimes the easy solution is to have frozen pizzas on hand at home as it’s money-saving and convenient compared to takeout. My family is obsessed with Motor City Pizza so I wanted to share this fave of ours if you’re looking for a different go-to brand to try.
Motor City Pizza is Detroit-Style deep dish pizza heaven!
Its rectangular shape, buttery airy crust, and delicious caramelized texture are what sets this pizza apart. We all know frozen pizzas can vary in taste quite a bit, and this one is a total winner.
Motor City Pizza brand is the closest taste to fresh that we’ve had.
It has a great sauce-to-cheese ratio, yummy-tasting high-quality toppings, and the crust is SO GOOD. It comes with a pan that helps give the crust an awesome texture, and it’s super convenient to have a pizza ready to bake in a pan!
Look for Motor City Pizza the next time you’re at Costco, Sam’s Club, or Walmart!
We all know and love the yummy pizza from the Costco food court, but it’s always nice to know about the best frozen pizza options to stock the freezer with! We used to buy the Kirkland brand pepperoni pizzas, but have switched to buying the 2-packs of Motor City Pizza instead.
At Costco, they come in either double pepperoni and supreme varieties for around $12 for two pizzas (that’s just $6 per large pizza!). They both are super tasty!
Our team even spotted Motor City bacon cheese bread recently at Sam’s Club which sounds delicious, and I’m grabbing some next time!
Walmart and a few local grocery chains such as HEB sell Motor City Pizza too, so keep your eyes peeled in the frozen pizza aisle for them.

My family really did not like the great value rising crust pizza. We do love the Aldi ones though! And they are only $2.75 at our local Aldi. And I would love to try this motor city one if I can find a just cheese! I am very allergic to pepperoni
Their cheesy bread at Costco is good too, I love garlic so I sprinkle some on top before baking.

Great value from Wal-Mart is really good. You need to add cheese. But let’s face it all the frozen brands I’ve had need cheese. My wish is that more companies would make sausage and cheese. Sausage makes the cheese taste weird. Guess it’s all the grease. Although I have to say Wal-Mart has about the least amount of grease on top along with Aldi’s. Just my personal option. I will try this motor city one.

Best Pizza for frozen. Yes, tried the 2 at Costco and ended up going to Walmart to get the other varieties. We were not crazy over the pizza bread (came in a pack of 2) so for the second pizza bread I added meat (bacon and sausage) and thinly sliced onions. Awesome. Actually not been ordering pizza home delivery since we discovered the Motor City Pizzas.

Here in the Motor City…Michigan..our Detroit style pizza is really good ! Its deep dish style. I haven’t tried the frozen version yet! Wish they sold it other places!
I make the overly greasy ones less gut-busting by blotting the grease with multiple paper towels laid on top. Only way I can eat pizza without indigestion!

Are you guys kidding? I just had a four cheese deep dish and couldn’t have been more disappointed. I didn’t know you could make a pizza with this little flavor.
I’m in Canada and Costco just had them in 18 for 2 pizzas and I liked it. For me though it was a tad expensive for 2 pizzas. It’s better than Little Caesars depending on location for their deep deep dish pizza.
I tried this pizza for the first time today. I love it. I really like a thick crust and this one is perfect. I added some mushrooms and onions and will be buying this kind from now on. And it was only 7.44 at Walmart. Yummy

I discovered Motor City frozen pizza this past summer. It’s my go to now for my pizza cravings. I don’t have any desire to go to Dominos, Hungry Howies, Papa John’s or any other pizza retailer.
I don’t need any special oven to bake a perfect pizza every time. The one thing I do is I always add extra cheese to my Motor City pizza. I used to always my pizzas with extra cheese so I now continue that tradition in my home.
