Purple Carrot delivers everything you need to make tasty, healthy meals and snacks full of nutritious veggies and fruits. The recipes are totally unique and prove that being vegan or vegetarian still comes with robust meal options! 😍
Every meal is centered around plants and each box contains a variety of fresh veggies, fruits, and herbs. Each recipe is also packed full of nutrients and vitamins, and so full of amazing flavors!
Each meal kit is shipped free right to your door, and most of their recipes only take about 30 minutes from start to finish! Woohoo!
Plus, you’ll get a chance to try so many new foods you might not have tried otherwise and get all of the recipes to make them on your own if they become a new favorite.
Purple Carrot vegan meal kits have everything you need!
All the ingredients for each recipe come bundled together, ready to prep and cook. Everything is pre-portioned, so it’s easy to put each meal together, including spices and herbs that you likely don’t have laying around.
Literally the only extra ingredient I needed to cook my meals was olive oil!
There’s also a handy booklet that walks you through each recipe with easy step-by-step instructions and stunning pictures so cooking in a pinch has honestly never been easier! Plus, sometimes it’s hard to find special ingredients for flavorful vegan dishes so Purple Carrot’s meals are such a great solution! 👏🏻
However, I did experience a couple of hiccups. 😕
One of my recipes was missing a dressing and quite a few of my mushrooms for the Crispy Quinoa Cakes were going bad. 🙁 Despite these inconveniences, there was still an efficient amount of mushrooms and I thankfully still made both recipes work (and I did enjoy both)!
That said, I was doing a review after all and I’m BIG on great customer service so regardless if I made my meals work, I always have our Hip readers’ best interests on the forefront.
So I went undercover and called customer service…
Turns out, Purple Carrot’s customer service is very responsive & wonderful! YAY! 💜
A rep answered my call in 34 seconds (yup, I timed it 😆) and after explaining my issues, they were happily willing to give me a FULL refund for both meals to my Purple Carrot account – valued at $30! 👏🏻 To top it off, she said these credits NEVER expire so whenever I’m ready to use them, they’ll be available. Sweet!

I’m vegetarian, but eat vegan when possible. I’m not much of a cook so would love to try the microwaveable meals. I’ll put this on my to-do list after I use up some of the food in my freezer as it’s jam packed right now. Couldn’t even stock up on the vegan pizza on sale at my grocery store this week as I didn’t have room in my freezer!
