My 1 Year Review Using The Home Edit Walmart Products (+ My Favorite Organizers!)

A year ago I organized nearly every room in my home with The Home Edit products. I’m sharing why The Home Edit Walmart line is game-changing.

An organizer that’s lacking in durability will create a dysfunctional space long term which ultimately defeats the purpose of any organizer.
These BPA-free plastic organizers are thick and seriously solid! 🙌🏻 They still maintain their sleek shape despite packing them full of heavy bottles. Needless to say, I have the confidence to organize anything I put my mind to with all of these organizers!

Initially, I had myself convinced they wouldn’t be a good fit for every space I hoped to organize. Lo and behold, I found them to be even more practical in every single space I used them in…and then some! 👏🏻 In fact, they’re so functional, I even found myself being able to store more stuff inside of them than I previously had in each space. 😍
I’ve had this masterful setup in our bathroom and under our kitchen sink for a year now and it still looks just as organized. They’re also been just as functional too. 🤩

It likely already goes without saying that stackability is simply a game-changing feature. You can fit so much stuff and utilize space you couldn’t before with this feature. Every single one of these containers is compatible so you can stack until your heart (or space) desires. 😍
Funny enough, I thought my space was pretty organized before (which clearly wasn’t the case judging by my before photo 😆). Thankfully, The Home Edit organizers turned up my cabinets a thousand notches!
After a year of using this setup in our bathroom, I can say they’ve held up incredibly well! I love being able to see everything we have and I don’t spend a ton of time shuffling stuff around to find what I need.

These organizers fit absolutely seamlessly inside drawers and nearly look built-in they fit so perfectly. 🤩 And they’re exactly the same height so I never have to worry about things getting mixed up from bin to bin. That feature alone has been a total game-changer for me. In fact, it’s the exact reason I’ve never had to organize our drawers! 😍
The only thing I have changed since getting these last year was incorporating more of their smallest drawer inserts so I can group and organize even more odds and ends. Functional doesn’t even cover it. When The Home Edit products are stacked on top of each other you can see everything inside. Plus, they’re easy to unstack when you need to access something on the bottom! 🤩
I recently grabbed a few more for our coat closet to better organize all of our winter accessories. I found that our old larger bins (which you couldn’t see through) were so dysfunctional. Every time we needed a hat or gloves, I was shuffling through the mess to find what I needed.

I think they are ugly. I use vintage items to organize my house. My mouthwash is in crystal decanters etc. I have an old wooden box thing which is a counter long on its side so it has cubbies in it that I put my make up in etc. I think it was in a shop at one time. It has some round and square nails in it. Just another idea than more plastic stuff. LOL

I agree! I love organizing, but it feels like more waste. Why get rid of all your perfectly good organizational pieces just to buy more? At our house, we use mason jars, baskets, pottery, fabric bins, etc. to store items. If I need to store something, I just poke around the house until I find something to put it in!

I bought a set of 24 small clear bins (2 sizes) on Amazon when we got a new vanity with shallow drawers. I had been using random silverware bins. What a big difference it made when like items had their own spot. It made my mind happy (if that makes sense). I’ve watched the home Edit shows and I’m glad there are affordable options now. Can’t wait to update a few other spots in my home!!

I love the idea, but to invest so much money in clear plastic seems a waste. I have bought great inexpensive heavy duty plastic pieces at Aldi’s. They also had slider baskets. I bought drawer organizers at Dollar Tree. Space and storage is at a minimum because will live in an apt. so always looking for great affordable things. I bought the Sorbus cosmetic organizer stack on a great sale at Clear the Rack at Nordstrom Rack.

I love these. I bought multiple sets when the line first came out and redid my pantry and several other spaces. I was happy to give away my mismatched storage items and streamline everything. It makes my OCD happy! Plus these bins are really durable and I would expect them to last for years to come. Highly recommend!

The cords! How did you wrap the cords to keep them organized. I mean I love how it’s all organized and how you can see it all, but the cords are a sore spot in my house. They seem to multiply!
Hey, Kristi! I roll up my cords and tie them with garden tape. It keeps them from getting tangled and the rolls of cords fit perfectly in the clear junk drawer inserts I shared above. I hope this helps!

YES Temu. I found it last month completely by accident as a pop banner and either saw something interesting or clicked by accident. Either way some amazing amazing finds. I don’t think they can (or wont) post an ad that doesn’t monetarily benefit them. Its ok tho because so many people are on to them now. Even my local news was talking about Temu today LOL
Do these items come with training for the hubby & kids to put stuff away after they get something out? HAHAHAHAHA!
What is the brown sun thing in your brown sugar? Does it help keep it not clump? If so, where did you get it? I use a piece of bread currently.
