I Tried This Popular Pink Stuff Cleaning Paste… and WOW! (Score a 2-Pack for Under $10 on Amazon)
Need some help with hard to remove stains around the house?
Today I’m excited to share a helpful cleaning product that I recently discovered called The Pink Stuff. It’s an effective yet gentle cleaning paste that I highly recommend for hard-to-clean grease and grime around the house!
I have to confess though that I am always slightly skeptical at trying products that promise miracles, but this cleaner is so popular on TikTok and the online reviews are pretty amazing, so that definitely piqued my interest!
Right now, you can score the The Pink Stuff Miracle Cleaning Paste 2-pack for the lowest price ever of $9.98!
What is The Pink Stuff Miracle Cleaning Paste?
It’s a powerful all-purpose cleaning paste that is gentle on surfaces but is also tough on stains. The ideal uses for it include cleaning saucepans, ovens, barbecues, ceramic tiles, glass, rust, sinks, garden furniture, paintwork, boats, stove cooktops, copper, and much more.
You basically just grab a rag or sponge, dip it in The Pink Stuff, and start scrubbing! I found that it is quite an effective cleaner, especially compared to spray-on cleaners I am used to using. Keep in mind you do have to put some elbow grease into it for the really baked-on stains.
The Pink Stuff cleaned my oven like a champ!!
I used a Scrub Daddy sponge with the cleaning paste and scrubbed out my oven easily. There were a few spots that required some harder scrubbing, but it did so well! I let it soak in for a few minutes, then scrubbed. I am super impressed!
I took the oven rack out that was brown from baked-on grease and grime, and scrubbed it too over the sink, and it now looks brand new!
The Pink Stuff’s primary ingredients are baking soda, quartz, sodium silicate, and soap, which makes sense with its ability to break down baked-on grease. It may not be great for polished surfaces as it could scratch, and also it could take the paint off of walls, so be sure to spot test on certain surfaces first before scrubbing.
There is no chemical smell to this cleaning paste, which is amazing too!

Did you know that if you take apart your gas stove it could look like this? Ha!
I thought I was good at keeping my stovetop clean, but I guess not! No worries though, The Pink Stuff cleaner took care of that grease in no time. I scrubbed with the sponge first and then went over it with a microfiber rag. It looks shiny and new now- yippee!
The Pink Stuff cleaner is also great for cleaning up cookware!
I tested it on a stainless pot that had some tough burn marks on the inside that wouldn’t come off with dish soap. Using just a little cleaning paste, they wiped off easily. Now it’s super shiny and new looking!
Here is another example of a cast iron enamel pot that has some baked-on stains. I just scrubbed the inside with The Pink Stuff, and it got it fairly clean quickly!
I can’t wait to try this on my baking sheet pans next!
Conclusion: The Pink Stuff cleaner ROCKS.
If you enjoy cleaning tips and supplies that actually work, try this stuff out! I think it’s highly satisfying to clean things like this and see a before and after. I am looking forward to using it in more areas around the house.
See why the Scrub Daddy sponge is a team favorite for cleaning in the kitchen!
I recently discovered this also. It’s amazing for hard water marks on glass shower doors. Also, it worked a miracle on my oven door. I bought the scrubbers that connect to a drill to make it so much easier to scrub.
Awesome! Thanks for sharing about Shower doors – ALWAYS looking for good solutions for that! 🙂
Ooh, just ordered to try on our shower door! Now I need those scrubbers too!
So this doesn’t sell in stores? Never heard of this. Thanks for sharing.
They actually used to carry it in Sears stores, but the last time I saw it there was over 20 years ago. It’s been around a long time and works awesome.
I have been looking for something like this in the U.S.!!!
How is this compared with Bar Keepers Friend powder?
On Amazon, some people said that it seemed no better than powder cleanser. I bought a single tub for $7 on Amazon so I’m not stuck with a cabinet full if I don’t like it.
Smart ya I hope your as pleasantly surprised as me! Thanks!
I’m curious too!
The bar keepers friend is the best!!!
I love Bar Keepers Friend and Bon Ami. Bon Ami cleans stainless steel pans and they look new again. Blows me away every time!

Thanks so much for sharing, Uma!
Good deal but that bundle is exempt from the $10 Amazon credit
That looks like a stainless steel stovetop. Did it scratch it?
No it didn’t scratch.
Looks like something my Mom used to clean her stainless steel pots and wok in the 80s. We grew up overseas and she used a pink paste called Chemico. Wondering if it’s the same? Seems like it is.
Hmm unsure I did read this cleaner is from the UK so could be or similar!
Mom confirmed it’s very similar!
We have such a hard time removing iron stains from hard water in our shower. Has anyone by chance tried this in their shower (tile)?
Yup, first comment said she uses it on shower doors and it works.
Try Scrubbing Bubbles and a heavy duty Magic Eraser or very, very fine sandpaper. Both work really well.
I use warm vinegar to clean shower door glass. Works great!
Cut a lemon in half and rub it all over your hard water stains in your shower. Let it sit for a bit. It works very well!
When you write use a lemon on the shower do you mean the tile or door? I have hard water stains on the tile that I’ve tried everything possible on and I still see the stains. I’ve never tried a lemon and that’s why I’m asking. Thank you in advance.
There was something similar to this sold on an infomercial in the late 80s and early 90s. I bought it as I bought anything that was on an infomercial 😂
It was called Quick n Bright. I used to work at the As Seen on TV store. That was one of our best sellers!
Would this clean brass as well?
Looks like something that was sold on QVC years ago. It did polish watermarks off but I dif not finfd that product very effective.
I live in the UK… I looove pink stuff. It’s amazing. But I buy it for around $1 😬
Wow that’s awesome lucky you! Thanks for sharing.
This looks similar to some stuff my mom bought me that I’ve had a tub of for years now. It’s called Earth Brite and it’s a miracle at getting stains out of my sink. A little goes a long way, but it doesn’t seem to damage anything I’ve scrubbed with it. It says it’s made with: clay soap flakes, green soap, mineral oil and lemon. I wonder what is in the Pink Stuff? Maybe I’ll try it if this stuff ever runs out!

Is this good for oil and grease?
Has anyone tried the pink stuff spray cleaners?
I want to try that also Mindy! They seem popular too.
Yes! It works very well!
I bought the bundle. The spray took off easy clean stuff, but did nothing for the elbow-grease stuff. I found it no different then any other spray. The paste however, did wonders on the tough stuff and I needed very little effort!!
Reminds me of the 1985 movie The Stuff 😆
I had a cleaning lady a few years back who got my stove to look like that. She probably used something like this as we were living overseas at the time!
I do like Bar Keeper and Cameo Stainless cleaner. It is hard to find Cameo these days so I will give it a try! The pink Stuff.
Anyone have any ideas to get really tough cooked-on gunk off of smooth glass stovetops? The stovetop cleaners I’ve tried aren’t that effective, and I’m afraid to try anything that could scratch it up…
I’ve been happy with Weiman glass cook top heavy duty cleaner and polish. I usually get it at Menards. I use a dry dollar store light duty scrubbing pad with it. Polish it up with a dry paper towel afterwards. I always clean up within 24 hrs of the spill so, I usually don’t have to use too much elbow grease. No scratches.
I love Barkeepers Friend for my glass cook top. It works wonders. I have had all kinds of cooked on stuff on mine and, it always takes it off. My stove top is white, so things show more. Using Barkeepers Friend always keeps it nice and white. It even took a rust stain from my cast iron pans off of the top. No scratches. It’s inexpensive and does the trick.
Try a dryer sheet with a tiny bit of Dawn. Weird, I know – but it works for me. Be patient with it…it takes a while, but does a nice job. Google it first, it doesn’t scratch for me.
Holy cow WATCH OUT The Pink Stuff on Amazon Prime had a $90 DELIVERY CHARGE!!!!!
Oh darn! I don’t see that charge from Amazon as I click through now.
When I click through this link it’s not showing prime option and charging me shipping as well. When I found it on the Amazon app however, it was free prime shipping. HTH!
How odd. I do find it to ship free with Prime as I click through now. Glad you could grab it through the app!
Thanks. Bought one. Hopefully it works good..
I bought this and LOVE it, Annie! I have an electric cooktop (flat glass) stove and it was great – no scratches. I also used it on the bottom of well-used pans and now they look new!
Over $100 shipping!!!
Order Summary
Items: $10.37
Shipping & handling: $109.99
Total before tax: $120.36
It looks like the original seller has run out. They have added in a new seller with terribly high shipping. I would check back in the next day to two. Once the first seller has more stock, you should not have that shipping amount.
The Amazon small business credit. Can we take advantage of that more than once? (not likely, I know)!
If you can find vanisol, it’s a potent toilet cleaner – use a tiny bit with gloves on and some ventilation. It removes all rust Fast
Just cleaned my sinks and oven after a small grease fire happened…I could’ve used this!! Instead I used baking soda and white vinegar worked excellently!
I always use baking soda (make a paste)to clean my white stovetop! Works wonders 👍🏻
I feel like I have to say something to my fellow Hip2Savers regarding this product. I found that it didn’t actually clean that well, if at all. Mrs. Meyers cream cleanser works far better, is cheaper, and is easier to find.
It is very hard to rinse off. I ruined my stove top and my fridge using this product because it’s EXTREMELY abrasive. The company is very difficult to work with. They did refund my purchase cost, but were unwilling to do anything for the damage to my appliances. We have an appointment in small claims court in September. My attorney feels confident because they do not warn anywhere about the abrasiveness and actually show photos of them cleaning these products. DO NOT use on Stainless Steel appliances. Please!
Not sure what this is all about but the 1st sentence in the directions say “Mild Abrasive Paste” so theres that.
Also says not to use on polished stainless steel. And if you didn’t test it before you wiped it all over not one, but two appliances……🤷♀️
YES!!!!! This is ALL over TIC TOK just ordered mine glad to know it works.
I just found the spray version in Ross stores for $5.99 after falling in love with the paste version… Because of this post. ❤️
Oh i will have to look for that! Thanks for sharing!
Once again I can’t help but mention how abrasive this stuff is. Ruined my stovetop. Had to go to civil court to get them to pay for a replacement. Beware not the best of companies to ever have to deal with.
Used this on my glass cooktop today to remove the “cooked on” stains/rings around the burners. Works great!
Perfect! Thanks for sharing!
Make a paste of baking soda and olive oil and it will get out hard water stains, pot stains, glue and ink off glass jars, etc…I wouldn’t waste money on something that a couple staple items could take care of!
I wish I had this success with it. I bought the bathroom spray version and the tub. I used both and didn’t have any success of it getting rid of stains on my tub/shower. My shower/tub was probably the cleanest it’s ever been after multiple days of cleaning, testing each of the products out, but it didn’t show all the scrubbing that happened. I’ll have to try it in the kitchen and see if it works better there.
I bought this Pink stuff in spray version for my shower and never again. It didn’t really clean, I ended up scrubbing with a brush to clean at least a little. Horrible chemical smell!
Thanks for sharing Zara. Sorry that wasn’t successful… Sounds very different than the paste that doesn’t have a strong chemical smell.
