Here’s what I think of my new vinyl floor mat from V-MAT:
My mudroom was in desperate need of some sprucing up. I loved that these vinyl floor mats are waterproof, incredibly easy to clean, kid and pet-friendly, allergy-free, and would instantly add style to our room.

I don’t get it. Can’t you just buy vinyl tiling? Is vinyl tile that expensive?

You wouldn’t have to take the sticky backing off the tile though.
how would you get it to stay in place then? and not separate?
you could attach vinyl tiles to a piece of cheap linoleum or even paint the linoleum and make your own though.

I learned about a diy of this about 20+ years ago when I owned my first home and it had ugly floors. It was called a vinyl floor cloth back then (in an actual printed magazine!) but basically like a hand painted or stenciled version of this. Take any piece of linoleum and make it your own…so many options.

Hi Siena! I have one of these mats under my kitchen sink. I spill water often and so do my kids and we haven’t experienced any mold. We have loved ours. So easy to clean and I get so many compliments.
