Directions: If using Mascarpone cheese substitute, cream ingredients together with kitchen mixer and set aside in separate bowl. Whip 3 cups of heavy cream for about 2 minutes until peaks form. Add sugar, vanilla, and Mascarpone cheese/cheese substitute. Combine all ingredients. In a casserole dish, place a layer of graham crackers on the bottom. You may need to break a few crackers to get an even layer. Spread 1/3 of the cream mixture over first layer, and continue until you have three layers of crackers and cream mixture. Chop or shave chocolate bars with a vegetable peeler over the top of dessert to garnish. Cover and place in refrigerator overnight. Serves 8-12 depending on size of squares.

I was introduced to ‘ice box cake ‘ 20 something years ago when I was in junior high! My girlfriends grandma made it with – chocolate wafers, chocolate pudding and cool whip. Layered a bunch of times and put into the freezer. It was A-MA-ZING !! Still make it and still live it 😀

This one is absolutely the best! I’ve made it three times already since they posted it around the Super Bowl. Love it! I make it using the mascarpone and the two candy bars just like pictured above! Happy Easter!
