Let’s talk about dessert. You want something creamy, indulgent, maybe even a little naughty. But your nutritional goals say more “protein, please!” Check out this blended combination of cottage cheese, protein powder, and chocolate chip cookie crumbles.
It’s giving cheesecake energy but with a fitness twist. And the best part? You can whip this up in under 10 minutes with just a blender and a few ingredients.

Why use cottage cheese?
Blended cottage cheese is incredibly smooth, surprisingly mild, and the perfect base for a fluffy, mousse-like texture. Pair it with your favorite protein powder, and you’ve got a dessert that’s secretly packing 20 grams of protein per serving. I love peanut butter protein powder in this, but the chocolate flavor would be fantastic instead.
A handful of crumbled cookies adds that irresistible crunch, while melted chocolate chips drizzle down like the final boss of dessert toppings. You’re not just fueling up. You’re treating yourself.

More tips for making cottage cheese, peanut butter mousse:
- Make a batch ahead of time and portion it into jars for grab-and-go treats. It’s like a protein pudding cup, except you made it, and it’s better!
- Use any sweetener of choice to taste! Be sure to blend and taste your mousse, and if it’s not sweet enough for your taste buds, add a bit more sweetener. I like to use monk fruit, but some may prefer honey or maple syrup.
- I like to keep this in the freezer and then let is thaw a bit before serving to soften. If you prefer a softer mousse, keep it in the fridge instead.
- You can use any cookies in this recipe, homemade or store-bought.
