Like Coffee AND Pumpkin? 🎃

If so, incorporate yummy Fall flavors into your coffee each morning with this easy DIY Pumpkin Spice Coffee Creamer recipe!

This healthier version uses almond milk as a base with pumpkin puree and maple syrup as sweetener for a more subtle flavor as opposed to a super sweet dessert taste. Feel free to adapt any of these amounts to your taste and add sugar for more of a sweet treat.

Homemade Pumpkin Spice Coffee Creamer

Ingredients:
2 Cups Almond Milk
2 Tablespoons Pumpkin Puree
1 teaspoon Pumpkin Pie Spice
1 Tablespoon Maple Syrup
1/2 teaspoon Vanilla Extract

Directions: Heat a saucepan on the stove to medium heat and whisk almond milk, pumpkin puree, pumpkin pie spice, with maple syrup. Carefully heat until almost boiling, whisk in vanilla, remove from heat and pour in a bottle or container with lid.

Store in the fridge and shake before using in case spices settle a bit.

I usually drink almond milk in my morning coffee, so this is an easy and yummy way to add pumpkin to my morning. Plus, it’s great if you happen to have an opened can of pumpkin from baking that’s needing to be used! Enjoy

What do you like to drink in your coffee?

Yum!!! I love fall & I make mine with either almond or coconut milk. Equally rich & delicious 😋

Thank you – was able to try a free pumpkin latte at McDonald’s today- yuck!! Super sweet only too a few sips. So glad I didn’t pay for it

    • Fun

I bought one today and threw it away, so nasty and artificial tasting almost nothing like pumpkin!

    • Lina (Hip's Modern Martha)

Ya that’s not my style for every morning. I hope you enjoy this one! ☕️

    • Gina

I always get a small because they put the same amount of espresso in all 3 sizes. It cuts the sweet taste down a lot

I have that same Mason jar mug. Never thought to put a ring and lid on it! Great post!

How long does this keep in the fridge?

    • Lina (Hip's Modern Martha)

So canned pumpkin covered lasts about a week, so I’d say around the same for the creamer.

      • Lisa

        Thanks.

  11. Renee

How long would this last in the frig?

    • Lina (Hip's Modern Martha)

I would say about a week since that’s how long canned pumpkin stays good for.

      • Renee

        Thanks! It sounds delicious!

  12. Gina G.

Do you think it would last until whatever the expiration date of the milk is?

    • Lina (Hip's Modern Martha)

I thought that too, but unsure with the addition of canned pumpkin? It would be easy to cut recipe in half also if it’s a concern of not using it all. 😀

I’m going to give this a try. I grabbed a PSL at Starbucks last weekend with half the pumps of pumpkin syrup. The first sip was good, but after that the sweetness got to me and I ended up tossing it. It blows my mind that I used to drink those full strength and love them. A few years of eating clean and lowering our sugar intake and our palates have completely changed!

    • Lina (Hip's Modern Martha)

Oh interesting – ya then you’ll like this 😀 enjoy!

      • Lacey

I used to also drink the psl but now it’s sooo sweet. I get a flat white with one pump pumpkin. It’s really good if you like a strong latte with little sugar!

        • Lina (Hip's Modern Martha)

I love a flat white and will have to try that! Great idea

  14. tilly

I use almost this same recipe and put it in a crock pot with a pot of coffee. Easy pumpkin lattes for a crowd!

    • Lina (Hip's Modern Martha)

      Oh smart idea!

  15. Serena

Sounds delish! I can’t wait to try it!

  16. Deborah

If you have any more creamer recipes, I’m sure all of us would want to try them.

    • Suzanne T

I agree! I’d love to see some more of these receipes too 🙂

      • Lina (Hip's Modern Martha)

        Thanks for the feedback! 😀

  17. Christine

I drink Almond milk but do not like it in my coffee, I prefer my coffee to be much creamer, could I use half and half or even can milk for this, also can the maple syrup be omitted, I use Truvia as sweetener

    • Lina (Hip's Modern Martha)

Yes of course – all of that could be used! 😀

  18. Al_fe

    Sounds easy and delicious

  19. Manuel

Can you use half and half instead of almond milk?

  20. Amie

    thanks!
