Don’t have a milk frother to make lattes? No problem! I actually used my immersion hand blender to froth my latte, and it worked great!

Wow ty sounds great I would also suggest may be extra work but adds a lot of flavor to buy a baking pumpkin bake in oven then use purée from real pumpkin makes home smell nice too. Ps you can freeze the leftover purée Thanks again:)

    • Lina D (Hip2Save Sidekick)

      Great idea! Thanks!!

    • Lina D (Hip2Save Sidekick)

      Thanks!

  3. 50ShadesofLipstick

Cool idea. Pumpkin spice lattes don’t even have real pumpkin in them, so this is definitely a step up! I love your DIY approach to home cooking! <3

    • Lina D (Hip2Save Sidekick)

      Aw THANKS <3

Another tip for the leftover pumpkin…if anyone is having issues “going,” pumpkin is a natural laxative! Our vet had me give the dog canned pumpkin and it worked like a charm. I remembered that tip when our daughter was born and always kept some pumpkin baby food on hand. 😉

    • Katrina

Thanks for the tip! I’m sure it will come in handy for me.

  6. Kimberly

I tried both recipes and both were yummy! For the bread, I added pecans and I made a cream cheese and cinnamon frosting to put on top and it is so good. Even the kids like it and they don’t normally like pumpkin flavored treats.

    • Lina D (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Way to go!! ❤️👊🏻 Sounds delicious Kimberly!

  7. Jessi

This leave a lot of left over pumpkin; if you need another idea for using it? I add a can of pumpkin to my chili! YES CHILI! It adds nutrients, makes the chili thicker and no one EVER notices 🙂

  8. Katrina

This is latte is AMAZING! I have a sweet tooth, so I added about 1/2 teaspoon more sugar and increased the pumpkin spice (too much came out). This definitely surpassed my expectations, and will save me SO much money!

    • Lina D (Hip2Save Sidekick)

That’s so great Katrina! I agree so 😋 YUM. Thanks for trying the recipe!

  9. Erin

Anyone know how to make this into a Frappuccino?

    • Lina D (Hip2Save Sidekick)

I would probably add the pumpkin base to frozen coffee ice cubes in a blender.

  10. Elaine A. Kasten

You can froth milk in a French press coffee maker, too. Works really well.

    • Lina D (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Oh great tip! Thanks for sharing 👍

    • Lina D (Hip2Save Sidekick)

      Thanks and enjoy!

  14. Molly Mi

Hubby was complaining about the giant pumpkin pie from Costco taking up all the space in the fridge. I remembered this recipe and used it (minus the added sugar and extra flavorings) to make myself a nice PSL. Yum!

    • Lina D (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Awesome!! And lol those pies are big 👍

  15. Linda

This is amazing. I make it as a treat sometimes when my mom comes over to babysit the kids. Powers us through! I froze the remaining pumpkin into ice cubes, which I assume are around 1T each. Works great!

    • Lina D (Hip2Save Sidekick)

I love that idea! Great tip about freezing into ice cubes!

  16. awaysomewhere

Yes! and you can have it year round.
