I do this in my crockpot too 🙂

    • illjustwingit

For how long in the crockpot??

      • Bre

I have done this too with frozen ravioli. It took about 3-4 hours on high. I put the cheese on the last 30 minutes.

        • illjustwingit

That sounds good. I make a mean lasagna, so a quick alternative, crockpot looks like a quick fix😀

          • Lina (Hip's Modern Martha)

            Yes! So smart!

        • LM

          What she said 🙂 🙂

Sorry! Little one was being needy lol

Sometimes I add a little water to the sauce since the pasta isn’t pre cooked but her instructions are perfect!

    • Lina (Hip's Modern Martha)

      Great idea !

I do this a lot on week days. I actually put it together in the morning before work so all I have to do is throw it in the oven when I get home from work. Super easy and delicious. We love using both meat and cheese ravioli in the same dish.

  6. Bahiah

My son loves ravioli. Definitely going to try this. Thanks Lina!

Any recommendations on some good ravioli?

    • Lina (Hip's Modern Martha)

We love the Costco varieties in the fridge section. 👍🏻

      • Melissa H.

Costco’s grilled chicken and mozzarella are SO yummy! They are definately a fav in our house! 😃

  8. Vivian

This works with those refrigerated tortellinis too! Adding spinach is a great way to include some veggies! I’ve done this both with the refrigerated and frozen ravioli sat Costco.

  9. Aysha

Does everyone cook the ravioli ahead of time?

    • Jaci

I love this recipe. We call it ravioli lasagna and it’s one my whole family loves.

  12. claire

when i make this, i layer in ground beef, fully cooked (usually with garlic and diced zucchini) and drained…so good! you could totally add cooked diced chicken or italian sausage (maybe with some peppers and onions!) too! 😋😋😋

    • Lina (Hip's Modern Martha)

      Love this idea!

  13. Rebecca

Do you thaw the frozen ravioli first?

    • Lina (Hip's Modern Martha)

I did not. You could and then it will probably cook faster.

  14. Anita Martin

    Does Prepared Ravioli mean cooked?

    • Lina (Hip's Modern Martha)

Well the prepackaged ravioli you would find in the freezer or refrigerator section at the store.

  15. Penta

I made this today and it was great! Hubby had two helpings. I cooked the frozen ravioli first before layering into pan. Next time I will put a layer of yellow summer squash in it Will make this one again and again.

  16. Sneha

How long will I have to cook it if using refrigerated (not frozen) ravioli? That’s what I have on hand
