Are you a fan of watermelon? Have you ever tried cutting it up and placing a popsicle stick inside for a super easy and healthy frozen treat? These are the perfect treat to take to a BBQ or summertime get-together that kids and adults will both enjoy!
To make, cut up a seedless watermelon into triangular pieces. Use a small knife to cut a one inch slice in the rind, and slide in a popsicle stick. Freeze for a few hours and serve.
I recently made a bunch for my daughter’s picnic themed birthday party and they were a big hit! Something about putting fruit on a stick makes it very appealing for little ones (and adults too!). 🙂 I served mine in a bowl, and then placed the bowl on top of a larger bowl filled with ice to keep the watermelon cold. My family enjoyed these and I hope yours does too!
