This is a really basic and yummy party punch that can be adapted for any occasion! It’s the type of easy punch my mom always made growing up and we loved it. Enjoy!
We make this frequently for parties. You can skip the pineapple juice if you do desire. Also you can use orange sherbet. We us usually use rainbow sherbet which may not be the best for Halloween , except when it starts to melt , all the colors melt to get her and create a creepy looking color. Also we have used this as a punch for baby showers. We poured the Sprite/7-up in first with a few drops of food coloring to make it foamy blue or pink or green and then floated rubber duckies in it. After the shower they can be wiped off and be an extra little gift for the baby to be. At the holiday time we have colored the 7-up red and added lime sherbet(red and green) and floated frozen ice with a fruit roll up made poinsettia in it.
Agree my family has been doing rainbow sherbert and 7up for parties for as long as I can remember!
Those are great ideas! I may have to borrow some. 🙂
Thanks for the reminder, Collin. So easy, but I honestly forgot how we used to make this so I just kind of hoped it would turn out great. 🙂 Really appreciate the recipe!
You are so welcome!
Quick safety reminder – if you are serving this at a party make sure your guests don’t have latex allergies!
Thank you Jake I just posted the same thing! Good safety tip. 🙂
This is so fun but be careful and find out if anyone at your party is allergic to latex. 🙂 I am quite allergic and it would not be the most fun if I drank it 😱
